Girl just got hit by car on Stringfellow Road
Posted by: Yuck ()
Date: December 01, 2008 06:14PM

A girl got hit just a while ago on Stringfellow Road between Rt. 50 and Fairfax County Parkway.

I walked up the street not knowing what happened and then asked a few people.

I saw the most sickest Blood stain and whatever else in the road.

The People said the girl was taken to the Hospital and is OK, but from what I saw, I can't believe that. -- 7 foot trail of Blood and ???, it was nasty.

Pray she lives, but that mess in the road, I'll never forget.

And "Awakened", unhide your email so I can send you a few things, Like the pic of what was left of this girl. I'll go back up and take it now.

And, I also have other ways to find out who you are. So, be prepared, and Scared, for your PC will Die before your Eyes. YES! You will see an un-stoppable program, slowly remove, bit and byte, and you will have a nice New Door Stop that is not repairable. Jerk Off!

Yuck, don't make threats that you have no way of backing up.

You have an "in" on this site? There's only one person who runs this site and that person has said time and again that he will never reveal identities or IP addresses of the users of this site.

BTW, now that you've gone off half-cocked,

nevar is an extreme form of never. urbandictionary.com can be your friend.

lol @ yuck. It's called an automatic signature, annoyingly repeated on all of Awakened's posts. It's not like he put that in there specifically for that topic. Good try though... make sure your AOL account is paid up so you can continue posting here and threatening people with stupid stuff we know to be idiotic.

well this is not necessarily true. identity has been revealed on this site before and if there is only one person running the site then it was revealed by that person, so don't be too trusty, Bob

If someone's identity has been revealed on this site, I would bet it was through social engineering or some other method.

Cary only has IP addresses that people have used to post, and whatever email address they submitted when registering.

In both cases, Cary wouldn't be able to identify me with my IP or email address. He might be able to identify SOMEONE, but it wouldn't be me.

However, I'm sure someone could figure out who I was if they were familiar with me in the real world and recognized something in a comment I posted on here.

Ah yes, good old Stringfellow. I knew a kid hit on that road (closer to FFX County Pkwy) back in 93-94? He survived but it too was a mess, and he had to have total face reconstruction. And, the dude who hit him ironically went to CHS and was only doing about 40. Cars are no joke.

OK, I'm Sorry about Ranting last night at "Awakened".

I just think/thought when I saw the scene, that that could've been my daughter.

"Bob", I know what "nevar" means. And that is what ticked me off about "Awakened"s post. Believe me, I have been on the Internet, NOT the Web as you all call it, for nearly 20 years. CERN ring a Bell? Apple NexT was the first "Web" Server, but the Internet and ARPA Net were there long before that.

And AT&T had an Internal "Web" prior to that. Yes, I worked there and I have seen the "Rooms" where all Internet traffice is re-directed to the Gov. There is a POP in a building near Dulles that No-one enters without Alarms and Red Lights Flashing. It's a "skimmer", and Main Gateway to ALL Gov lines West of DC. Plus you have the underground AT&T Facility in Drainsville, a Secondary (once Primary) route.

My shock last night was that this could be my Daughter, or anyone who is old enough to/or has one.

As for My "In", if you haven't figured that out yet... You should leave your Mom's Basement.

It's NOT Rocket Science to know that "It's Who You Know." -- So guess ...

As for the other comments:

I don't Know if the Girl was a Hottie -- I just saw the trail of Blood and whatever else was in it. It was gross.

I don't think the Ffx. Co. Police would have appreciated me taking Pics, as it wasn't until I saw the "Mess" that a Cop said, "We need to get Pictures of this."

I drove by the site on my way to work today, it was cleaned up, but you can still see a stain across from the Foxfield Pool on Stringfellow.

All I know is that people said the girl was OK. She could not have been with that amount of Blood Loss and whatever else it was that was with it. It was just the Sickest thing.

So make fun of it. If you're an Adult and have kids, it could have been Your's. If you a Mom's Basement Dweller, like many here are -- and I know this because of who I know -- then think into the Future... You own kid, Hit and blood splattered all over the road... And If You can't Imagine it... Then you are just plain Idiots.

A Girl got Hit last night. And you all make fun of it... That is Truly Sad.

I hope she will be alright and I appreciate and fully understand where you are coming from. It's so sad to ever hear of anyone being hurt, but when it involves children that hurts even worse. Having witnessed such a scene is not easy either. Do you know how old she was? I understand another child was hit at that same place, is that a dangerous area for traffic typically? I don't know this area.

I never saw anything in the Post or on the news about this accident. If you hear how the child is, please let us know. I hope she wasn't injured too badly. That doesn't seem to be a particularly dangerous area, maybe its just that its getting dark so early and people are going too fast along there.

Thanks for the disjointed history lesson about the internet. CERN has nothing to do with the internet, it's a nuclear physics consortium. That just happens to be where Vinton Cerf worked when he developed hypertext markup language.

I've used veronica, archie, gopher, wais, etc, so what's your point?

As for your conspiracy theory stuff about skimmers and at&t rooms, have fun with that. Yes, packet sniffing goes on, but that crazy talk about government black boxes is way off the mark -- Echelon does this job, and has done this job for decades.

I didn't realize you took offense to awakened's sig since I've seen it on every comment he's ever posted, so I assumed you took offense to "nevar". Which to me seemed like being extremely sensitive and jumping to conclusions.

We've all been waiting for those pictures for over a day now.

Yet another idle threat by Yuck.

Plus, Yuck hasn't even given us any sort of update on the condition of the girl that got hit by the car, in the first place. We'd all like to know that she's doing okay, but apparently Yuck was on some sort of rant and can't be bothered.

Lets pray for the girl.

It is normal to relay the details of something terrible that one has seen. I do not think the poster was sensationalizing it as much as trying to process something he had seen. While it may be a horrible event especially for the loved ones I see no malice here (pre-flames).

Those not directly involved in the tragedy have the luxury of bickering with petty differences. To those involved God bless...

Yes, it would break my heart if it was MY daughter that got splattered on the side of the road, and people on the internet made fun of the 7-foot blood trail.

But then, I'd be a responsible parent and tell my kid to stay the fuck out of the road, so she doesn't get splattered and leave behind a 7-foot blood trail for people on the internet to laugh at.

I think everyone that is offended by any comment made on this board should hang out on /b/ for a couple months. They'll either chill out, or spontaneously combust. Either works for me.

The original poster didn't laugh or make fun of anything about the incident. There is only one post in the thread that I can find that made a joke of it, quit trying to unfairly turn this into something it is not. You'll only encourage people to start a who-can-be-more-shocking war. The original poster was simply relaying the shock of what was seen at an incident. I'm sure YOU have never rubbernecked at an accident or told anyone about any accident you have seen in your life, but the rest of us humans like to relay experiences.

pgens, my response was prompted by this post. My point being, if Yuck thinks the comments in this thread are awful, horrible, and completely tasteless, then he should have been on /b/ when Katrina hit New Orleans or the tsunami hit in Indonesia.

I'm not trying to make a joke out of this; I'm sure it was very hard on all of those immediately affected by it. Not everyone is sympathetic, though, and if I got on the internet and posted something tragic that happened in my life, I would fully expect at least one person to laugh at it. That's just how the internets are.

I remember one time, a few years back, some construction worker got hit by a car and killed on 395 late at night. Traffic was backed up for a half hour or so. When the people in my shop heard about it, they made comments like, "Oh, great, I'm going to be stuck in traffic all night while they clean this shit up."

I said, "Well, I'm sure he's real sorry about getting killed by a careless driver and fucking up your commute. He's probably looking down right now, wishing he wasn't inconveniencing people so much." So yes, I have plenty of empathy and compassion, but I've learned to not expect other people to have it as well.

Especially on the internet.

Was that REALLY so offensive? No, i'm not making fun of this situation. If anything, you're the one out of line for going at this incessant rant, "Yuck". Please, calm down. I understand how shocking something like this could be. What I said was barely a comment in the first place. What'd I say? "evar".

OH MY GOODNESS, I SAID EVAR. I'M SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON.

"Yuck", I know what it's like. I've seen a couple disgusting crashes before, and it hurts. I know. But don't go insane over nothing.

Threat? No. Joke? No. Random word? Yes. Offensive word? no.

So chill out. Yell at the others, be my guest, I don't care. But don't yell at me for pretty much no reason at all.

You are mistaken.Vin Cerf did work at CERN, and CERN was a big part of the ARPA and DARPA Net development.

Gopher, WAIS, etc... are still a part of Your Web Browser -- Obviously you didn't know this or you wouldn't have mouthed off. "Veronica and Arhie"??? You are watching cartoons in your Mom's Basement.

I'm sorry on this one, I can't remember the program name, but ALL Email Addresses had to to begin with a "!". "Bang" and "Bat and Ball" is what they were called back then.

Echelon Does NOT Exist, it's a Conspiracy like you accuse me of. It's fake... or was... Until they built the new CIA Building off of Rt. 28 just South of the EDS building. Has it's own power plant, and now the 2nd building is under contruction... cranes started last week.

I have seen the AT&T "skimmers"/re-routers, there is one in the now Northrup Grumman building across from Dulles Airport, the old AT&T Building. I checked this afternoon on Lunch, and the Room is still there and Clearly States it is "AT&T Property - Access Forbidden".

If "Echelon" exists, how do they get the info when the back-bone of the Ineternet, and Web, run thru these Back-Bones??? Who "funnels" the info to them?

From the POP in the Dulles building, Internet, Web, and Gov. traffice flows to the underground site in Drainsville, Mt. Weather (Yes, that is an AT&T Presence), and Monrovia, PA. -- Also underground.

Routes South go near Lynchburg, VA, and the over to the The Greenbrier in WV -- which is now exposed, but still operational in need.

So...... There you have more proof. I'll dig thru my info/boxes, and post to you every single Undergorund Site from to .... YOU tell Me.

BTW, that little building that the kids paint outside of Chantilly High School, is an AT&T Repeater, and you can follow the lines North along International Country Club, across Stringfellow, and all the way to the building at Dulles.

Side Note: AT&T in the 1980's was happy the kids painted the building outside Chatilly HS. It saved us over a Million Bucks in Asbestoes removal since there is so much paint covering it. -- Chomp on that "Bob"

---------------------------------------------------------

Enough Rant.

No I have no Pics of the girl that got hit. I suppose it will be listed in the weekly Incident Report on the FFX Co. Police site. If not, I would have to think she didn't make it.

I have no Pics of the Blood and whatever else it was that was in it, but it was sickening.

I also think that it is Sickening that You People are asking for Pics. Would you want your Blood and whatever is was posted on the web?

Like I said, they cleaned it up pretty good. If you want to see it, park at the Foxfield Pool on Stringfellow. Walk to the Cross-Walk, when you near the other side you will see a dark long curved stain where her Blood ran.

I don't know who she is/or was, so I can't give an update on that.

Maybe you can call the FFX. Co. Police and find out if you really "care".

-------------------------

My entire point of this thread was a girl got hit and there was a mess.

You can joke and say whatever. I only posted a News Article, that a girl had been hit, and it was a mess.

-------------------------

I Just don't understand you Mother's Basement Dwellers....

-------------------------

Oh, and just for Bob...

Now where did I leave my HC and 512 Baud Modem? And who is this McAfee guy talking about a "Virus"?

And here: http://info.cern.ch/

Web not created by CERN?

Grow Up little boy. Maybe you can get a job at McD's.

-------------------------

And Girl got hit by a Car. Her Blood and whatever it was, was everywhere, about 7 feet long...

And You want to argue..........................................?????????????
-------------

And for YOU Dumb-Craps that think you can't be revealed... When YOUR Daughter is a friend of his, a close friend.....

Adios.

Archie is a search tool for indexing FTP sites. Veronica is a search tool used over Gopher.

I never said that Vinton Cerf didn't work for CERN. I said that he developed HTML while working for CERN. However, CERN had nothing to do with arpanet. CERN's only connection to the development of the internet was that Cerf was employed by CERN when he developed HTML in order to aid in the sharing of scientific research.

Echelon does exist. Unless the European parliament is into conspiracy theories.

Mt. Weather is a FEMA facility. My mother used to do COG exercises there in the early 90's. It's a hollowed out mountain with trailers stacked two high for offices and sleeping and eating facilities. Have fun making up stuff, because none of it makes any sense.

YES, and that is exactly what they want You to believe.

It is the 1st stop for the Feds to protect themselves as they leave/evacuate DC -- Cold War. Then it was on to The Breenbriar in southern WV. Monrovia, PA, was another choice, and Camp David has bunkers as well. The Federal Reserve had a Money Vault in Cuplpeper, but abandoned it and put it up for sale. The old Western Union site out near Winchester was bought by AT&T, and is now empty and for sale.

So if Mt. Weather is a FEMA site, why are there so many AT&T people running the NOC inside? And the Drainsville site... What say you of that???

-- Side note, My 1st Grade teacher and her husband died in the plane that crashed into Mt. Weather in the 1970's, which basically exposed it's location, and why Reporters were not allowed to approach it. TWA Flight 514 to Dulles.

----------------------------

Horrific TWA Crash Inadvertently Exposed Fed’s Classified Mount Weather Installation, 1974

"At 11:10 a.m., December 1, 1974, TWA Flight 514, a Boeing 727 flying in bad weather, crashed into the wooded slope of a 1,725-feet mountain about 25 nautical miles northwest of Dulles International Airport (first opened in 1962), Washington, D.C., killing all 92 people aboard (85 passengers and 7 crew members) and destroying the plane. (1) It was the worst air disaster of 1974."

AT&T Employees were the first responders. How? Why were they there? FEMA?-non existant then.

Ok, this is NOT the thread to be hashing out Internet issue and other tragedies.

I posted this the other night because a girl got hit on Stringfellow Road in the CrossWalk at the Foxfield Pool. It was sick, and very disturding.

Today I drove my Daughter and her friend home from Greenbrier, and they saw what is left of the blood stain. -- I'm glad they did NOT see what I did.

I wonder as well why nothing has been said in the press. Maybe it will be in Ffx. Co. Weekly Police Report.

If you want to see it where it happened, drive down Stringfellow between Rt. 50 and 7100. It was in the CrossWalk at the Foxfield Pool, South bound lane. There is still a dark mark there, and you can see where all the flares where set up.

Again, There is nothing left to take pics of but a dark stain and flair burns.

As for continuing the Internet/Web/Email/"Echelon"/"skimmers"/AT&T's Internet and com back bone, Let's move that to another thread Please.

This thread should end with Hope's that the girl survived.

I do have 1 question though for anyone in the Med Field... There was a big long stain/trail of blood, but it had some other "stuff" in it. What could that have been? -- Or maybe someone else who has witnessed this type of thing can answer.

I only ask because I have NEVER seen anything like that. It was a "white/cream" color -- and oh here come the "She got Creamed Jokes" -- Spare me and all who really care.

It was nasty and the Police didn't notice it until I walked up and saw it, as I posted before. They were too busy trying to get the Traffice in Control and didn't examine the scene until I nearly threw-up at the site.

OK. Enough. I won't bother with this thread again unless I do hear something. But like I said, I don't know who it was, or how the girl is doing.

-------------------------

Internet stuff, let's move that to another post, and since "Bob" seems to know all, go ahead and start it.

BTW, I have a pic of the first "Web" server... And where was it??? CERN. So You Failed the InterTubes.

CERN was a Major playerin helping create the 1st Internet/ARPA net/DARPA net, etc... AT&T provided the "back-bone" thru secure Gov Com Links from the Cold War, thus Mt. Weather, Drainsville, Monria, PA, and A whole sting all the way down to near Lynchburg, VA, that then went to "The Greenbriar".

Let's continue this in another thread.

----------------------

I Hope the girl survived.

Peace!

And I really mean that, Peace to you all, no matter what the discussion. Peace!

That is probably tissue, muscle and fat. If she was dragged as far as you say on pavement, she probably had significant flesh and possibly even bone shredded off of her body. Not being smart-ass, just answering your question. This happens with motorcycle accidents when bikers don't wear leather.

CERN is in Switzerland. They had the first web server because Tim Berners-Lee developed HTML and thus "the web" (I made a mistake and attributed that to Vinton Cerf, who I forgot was actually co-developer, with Robert Kahn, of TCP/IP and began working with ARPA in 1975 or 76).

However, the world wide web and CERN are separate and apart from Arpanet and the development of a packet-switched network between government and university computer systems inside the US. The web is not the internet, and the internet is not the web.

To say that CERN was involved in the development of the internet would be like saying that the guy who invented bitTorrent was also part of the development of Arpanet and helped to create the internet. The web was an application that made use of an already existing internet.

Yuck,

I was bored today so I took a walk over to that building to look for the room you are typing about. Although I found some interesting marked doors, I never found the door you spoke of... Can you give me a clue about where this door might be?
The only door that reasonably could be to the "skimmer/re-router" room is marked as "Dulles 69" along with all of the "authorized access only" writing.

Let me know where I can find this door. I'm sure it must still be there, since you saw it just 2 days ago.

Thanks,
SRE

Whenever I hear or see an ambulance, I always say a Hail Mary for whomever they are going for or taking to the hospital. That makes more sense than describing accident scenes on a web site like this. I do that for fire engines too and mfor the firemen and police officers safety.

Thank you.

Anyone who has ever been on this site for more than a drive-by comment (or any forum site, for that matter) would realize that discussions can morph in any which direction at random.

Hell, anyone who has ever had a conversation in a group would know that.

Don't ask me how the thread about "Dulles Airplane Noise" branched out into mayan death-cult doomsday prophecies, or ET or crazy military exercises. It just did. That's the nature of ad-hoc discussions.
