Of a good careeer and Big $$ with Bennies. Shes Age 46 and has 23 years thats 69 not enough time of service and age for any pension. If convicted and this is a feloney aginst the County State and Feds, because thats where all the monies come from Shes at least fired. Even if she gets probabtion..no teaching jobs or gov jobs ever again, goodby 127 K a year and goodbye 100 K + pension at age 55.

Poe was run like Tammany Hall. Sonya had a crew of cronies whose family members got patronage jobs in the form of un limited timesheets with grant money. The after school program that the grant was supposed to be paying for was a joke. John Chapman did nothing, the homework hour was staffed by community college ghetto hood rats.
Money and time were wasted while Sonya left work early everyday.
She crated a paid three year long administrative intern position for a guy who basically did nothing but kiss Sonya's ass. Rumor was she was fucking him. The school was run like a joke and its leadership reflected it. Colleen Noone was the biggest joke of the admin. Hated by everyone, she was as ineffective and incompetent as Sonya. She probably dimed out Sonya to get promoted. That was the only way that would happen.

The employee, Bethany Speed, along with Poe Middle School Principal Sonya Swansbrough were charged Monday with embezzlement and money laundering.
Fairfax County police believe Swansbrough, 46, of Woodbridge, and Bethany Speed, 38, of Burke, have embezzled more than $100,000 since May 2010.
Speed is Swansbrough's former finance technician, according to a message sent out to Poe parents by Cluster 3 Assistant Superintendent Douglas Tyson. The message further states that Swansbrough has been "temporarily relieved of her duties" and Poe Middle School Assistant Principal Colleen Noone will take over as principal for the time being.
The charges against the two women come about two months after FCPS asked Fairfax County police to look into "allegations involving falsifying time sheets for personal financial gain," in late September, according to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department. The investigation was a joint effort between the FCPD Financial Crimes Unit detectives and FCPS human resources office.
Swansbrough's son, Brenton Rusnak, 20, of Radford, was also charged with receiving stolen property in connection to this case.

So $100,000 dollars was scammed from the tax payers of Fairfax County. Police should be investigating ALL schools in Fairfax. I bet this is not the only one.
