Fellow FU posters,

here is the question that must bother us all, where in the hell is the best place to eat after facing a crucial blunt. Just the most delicious cheap fastest food around.

kabob is good. Georgetown Cafe is alright.

cheap and fast would probably either be Chipotle or Wendy's.

Too bad this isnt the west coast, or I'd suggest In-n-Out or Fat burger. The one on the Strip in Vegas makes a mint off the drunks.

Amphora in Vienna and IHOP, of course. It's not fine cuisine, but it is decent for late night munchies.

Well if we count Amphora in Herndon and Vienna, we'd have to count the Denny's and Tastee 29 in Fairfax.

Kabob Palace in Crystal City is open 24/7 and has the best kabobs. Plus it's right next to CCR.

Yechon in Annandale is open 24/7 and has good Korean food.

Back during my mis-spent youth, the spot was Mario's Pizza on Wilson Blvd in Arlington.

Is that joint still there?

Songbird in Mclean/Tyson's Corner. Tyco Rd and 123 ( Chain Bridge Rd. ) Great stuff. Kabobs, salads, good food all around. Open late till midnight. Also you veegans must try the Sunflower Restaurant in McLean on 123 and Nutley Rd and the one in 7 Corners. Also " Yechon " Korean BBQ. In Annandale on Hummer Rd. Open 24/7. House of Kabob is good too. Meal with chicken, lamb, salad, rice, and flat bread for 10 bucks. On 236, little river turn pike, across the street from K mart.

Check out Songbird's health inspection before visiting

Also, Sunflower is in Vienna, not Mclean

I've checked just about every restaurant I can think of on that site and I don't remember finding any that didn't have a health code violation. Just about every restaurant in Fairfax County has had at least one, if not more "critical" violations within the past three years.

Le Mistral, 5 critical:

Chipotle, Vienna, 2 critical:

McCormick and Schmicks, Tysons, 2 critical:

Ruth's Chris, Tysons, 1 critical:

Type in any restaurant, you're bound to find a violation.

You're missing the point.

You have to actually read the violations and see what they were cited for, and see the patterns of routine violations.

Apparently this means nothing, the food is going to taste like crap unless the store looks a certain way.
