I hope your predictions are correct. If Terry McAuliffe wins, we'll know that there was a real mandate on stupidity. If the voters just get their information from Terry's commercials during their breaks from reality TV, then the dummy voters will get what they deserve.

Nobody takes the time to really review something anymore. They make a quick decision and believe it to be correct.

The commercials --- from BOTH sides --- is something that I tend to avoid at all costs. Nothing but pure B.S. !!

How do you figure that? Oh, yeah ... same voting machines with faulty programming just like they used last fall during the presidential election.

The reality is that Terry didn't promise enough free shit to get voters to get out and support him at the polls. If he had offered up a lot of freebies, he'd get the 53% mark. But, your numbers are flawed. You didn't include the percentage for the Libertarian candidate. At the end of the day, he will only get 5% of the votes. The people who bail on that candidate will come over to Cuccinelli for the home run. The Libertarians will try again next time, but this time they realize that Virginia is at peril with Terry possibly being in control.

What could go wrong?

The republicans have screwed themselves with this one. Any decent candidate probably could have beat McAuliffe. They had to pick the most religious and socially extreme one of them all to pacify their base. Then, they try to convince everyone else that "oh, he really won't try to outlaw abortion/birth control/sodomy/bash gays". Really? Y'all deserve to lose.
