More Signs Stolen - Kincaid Must Tell Her People to Stop
Fairfax Republican Chairman Demands Kincaid Supporters Stop Illegal Activity
FAIRFAX - Fairfax County Republican Committee (FCRC) Chairman Jay McConville called on Sheriff candidate Stacey Kincaid to demand her supporters stop stealing campaign signs after more thefts were reported to the police on November 2nd.
"It was reported to me last night that additional campaign signs supporting BA Wolfe for Sheriff were stolen from locations throughout the countyyesterday. These signs, which are placed on private property, have a value of over $750. I call on Stacey Kincaid to immediately issue a public statement calling on her supporters to stop this illegal activity."
These latest thefts of large Wolfe for Sheriff signs come just days after the Vienna police attested to a sworn warrant issued for the arrest of Mr. Eric Kleiner, Stacey Kincaid's brother. A court date has been set for January 27th, 2014. According to sources, Mr. Kleiner must appear to answer to charges that he stole B.A. Wolfe campaign signs. He has admitted he took them.
"We need a Sheriff we can trust, and a campaign must reflect that trust" said Chairman McConville. "During this campaign, Wolfe signs have been stolen and damaged, multiple cars bearing the "B.A. Wolfe for Sheriff" logo and signage have been vandalized, and Bryan's lawn was trashed. These latest thefts show that Stacey Kincaid supporters continue to practice intimidation and illegal activity. She must immediately call for this outrageous behavior to stop."
The Fairfax County Republican Committee nominated Bryan "B.A." Wolfe for Sheriff in August. B.A. Wolfe is a 30 year veteran of law enforcement, having served honorably in both the Air Force Military Police and the Fairfax City Police Department. He was twice named "Policeman of the Year" by his peers in the Fairfax City Department, and has received over 130 commendations for his service. Wolfe has the endorsement of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association and the Law Enforcement Alliance of America. He served eight years as the Vice President of the Fairfax Police Association.
"BA is an honorable candidate and has run an ethical and excellent campaign. It is a real shame that this conduct has been going on in this race in support of Kincaid," concluded McConville. "The people of Fairfax should respond by voting for Bryan "B.A." Wolfe for Sheriff on November 5th.
