Best Chinese Food

This restartant is located in Falls Church and its called Peking Gourmet. It is good. Not only George H W and George Bush ate here. but this place is great. Peking Gourmet Inn does duck very well, with a delicious golden-brown skin and moist, juicy meat, carved tableside by a razor-sharp knife wielding duck master.

They've been one of my favorites for a long time.

For a more normal, reasonably priced alternative, try Hunan Delight in Vienna off of Cedar Lane. They've been there forever, and everything they do is fantastic. Home made eggrolls you can make an entire meal out of.

God I love that place.

I am still waiting on my plane ticket evidently to fly to "non-socialist" france. Until then I will keep annoying you people with my bad grammar. Then I will be off to write on Paris Underground about wine and smelly cheeses

If it is the place I'm thinking of, I went there a few times in the early 1990s. I thought the story was that GHW Bush went there while VP. Didn't know he went there as president as well.

I like both Mark's Duck House and the across-the-sidestreet X.O. Taste for roast duck et al.

PEKING GOURMET (Culmore/rt. 7 falls church in that shopping center by the post office) gets my vote, hands-down.

I don't know how they are RECENTLY (as in the past 3 months) but I can say I have NEVER been disappointed. The duck and the wings are to DIE FOR.

I have tried all my local chinese eateries within a 10 mile radius of my house and am disappointed. Please step your game up, other eateries! If I taste vinegar in my food again or stale rice which has been sitting all day or overcooked meat which tastes like it had been in the buffet for lunch and you are trying to serve it to me for dinner I will have to swear off the food forever.... :(

House of Dynasty is fabulous. In the shopping center at the corner of Hayfield Road and Telegraph Road.
