Veteran Delegate Tom Rust (R-Fairfax) appointed House Transportation Committe Chairman

Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Bill Howell (R-Stafford) has tapped veteran Northern Virginia Delegate Tom Rust (R-Fairfax) to serve as the House's Transportation Committee Chairman. Rust, who previously served as the mayor of Herndon, replaces outgoing Del. Joe May (R-Loudoun), who was ousted in a June primary.
