Police are searching for a man who robbed the Express Pharmacy near Occoquan on Wednesday.
The man, carrying an umbrella, walked into the business at 1690 Old Bridge Road around 4:50 p.m., displayed a gun and jumped over the counter.
He ordered employees to get on the ground before taking “a large amount” of pain medication, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
He then ran from the store, opening the umbrella again once outside. No one was injured.
Officers and a police dog searched the area but couldn’t find the robber.
He was described as white, 18 to 29 years old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, with a thin build.
He wore a gray hooded jacket, black ski mask, light jeans, black shoes and gloves.
