Springfield American Legion

I am interested in knowing more about the Legion post in Springfield. I am a Legion member of another post but often drive by Springfield. Do they have an active membership? Do they have a nice lounge? Is it a friendly or cranky crowd? Thanks

They had some accounting issues but are now back on track. The Post is in a pretty good location for activities and is pretty big.
