The other Lamb center thread it too much crazy for me. I don't oppose the place but do have a few unanswered questions regarding the center after viewing their facebook page.
1. Do you think bible thumping the TLC regulars help the homeless situation at all in fairfax or do they (TLC homeless) endure it for the freebies?
2. Why do they wash their clothing and literally put the food on the TLC visitors plates?
3. Why do they wash their feet, it it some sort of religious communion?
4. Camp clean up days. Why do the volunteers pick up the campsite and not the TLC homeless who created the mess?
5. Does 1-4 help create any sort responsibility in a life of chaos? They are trying to get them to help themselves to some sort of degree right, take some responsibility for their life?
6. How much time is focused on mental health and not religion? Lets face it god does not help crazy.
7. Does the TLC create a crime problem as some have stated?
8. Does the TLC actually believe god can help substance abuse issues such as heroin and crack?
9. If the TLC was not around or the doors were locked would it have made any difference what so ever?

And TLC is, thru policy, increasing the crime rate in the area. The drunks and the druggies are being pampered and favored way over above and beyond reasonable. And, No. Legal tobbaco smoking, moderately, does not fit into the picture in any way here, like the LC Director and some others there try to CONfuse the issue with.

Common sense should have prevailed with the above persons input about this Lamb Center policies being modified to accommodate all pretty much equally. The stubborn ones in charge, though, are criminals with criminal minds helping favorably with notice, the criminally minded ones arriving. They feel for them above and beyond the others. Obviously.

Insightful comment, McPoopy. The donations and your matching federal tax dollars are paying the bills for the ones running and operating the LC. WHY not, in the least, rotate around to each of them to take a homeless person in to their homes and give them a place to live until they can get themselves back on their own two feet again?

On the first and third Friday's of every month, TLC is open pretty much from 8 am to 9 pm for FREE Pizza & a Movie Night! All the hustling regulars are usually there. And open for business. For the underaged and minor's especially. All the street and underground prescript drugs, alcohol and the rest are readily available.

With all of the fine, excellent volunteer help being misdirected by the Director at the LC to be highly focused on and for the criminally minded criminal types! With all the donations and federal tax dollars not being utilized like it is said it is being utilized for! And actions do speak louder than words. Why will not Dave sponsor, let us say, an Honorably discharged military veteran with no ILLEGAL substance abuse habits? Spend all kinds of extra time and funds on him or her rather than a criminally minded criminal bouncing in and out of jail. And the proof is in the pudding, here. Look at Dave's track record with this sort of thing. And NO. The VA does not help worth a squat a non-retired, non-disability retired Honorably Discharged veteran. And what about the non-military veteran ones with clean and honest history's in need and homeless going there for help?

First things first, before the expressed intent of the place for these donations are put to taking care of the Homeless.
