Try Joe's crab shack. Really good fish and chips, especially for the price and being a franchise restaurant.

Here's a guaranteed method of getting absolutely the best fish 'n' chips.



(1) drive to Dulles airport, park in the daily lot

(2) check-in for your British Airways or Virgin Atlantic flight

(3) board your flight and take a 6-hour nap

(4) get off the plane at London

(5) catch a taxi and demande to be taken to the best fish 'n' chips place

(6) eat

(7) reverse steps 4, 3, 2, 1

Long John Silvers on Rt 7 in Falls Church. -They're surprising difficult to find in Nova. It's a bit out of my way, but worth it once in a while.

The best fish and chips around here are at Clare and Don's Beach Shack, in Falls Church. Crispy, Hot, Homemade and the best fries around. Good weekend bar too.
