they are also at the Sunoco gas station at Newgate Shopping Center on 29 and by the Exxon station by BJ's. They keep switching kids though. They will have a little girls in a stroller and a girl about 10 yrs old

They are probably illegal or over stayed their visa, so can't get legit work here. The only non-legit work is mowing grass and manual labor. They probably see themselves above that, so they cooked up this homeless/jobless scheme. Kind of insulting, considering how many real americans actually have lost their jobs.

I find that showing them the handle of my 9MM in my shoulder holster is effective at making them walk away. If they get too close, I consider that a potential attempted strongarm robbery.

We have a panhandler in centreville/chantilly who usually sits in a wheelchair in front of one store, but walks around normally and sits around without one at another area store... doesn't help her brand much that we've seen her at both.

Don't give them money, you don't know if its legit. Instead, make a contribution to a center that specializes in helping the lost lambs. Perhaps the good posters here can direct us to one. Maybe in the Fairfax Circle area.
