Police looking for 20-year-old Cordrey Douglas Jackson attempted armed robbery and assault and battery
Police are searching for 20-year-old Cordrey Douglas Jackson, who is wanted on charges of attempted armed robbery and assault and battery.
On Aug. 13 at 10:39 p.m., police were called to the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane in Triangle for a robbery.
A 22-year-old pizza delivery driver told police he was in the area making a delivery when a man approached and assaulted him. A fight ensued.
Two officers in the area on an unrelated call witnessed the fight and as they got closer, the would-be robber ran away, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
The victim suffered minor injuries and nothing was taken.
On Sept. 13, detectives were able to identify Jackson as a suspect, Perok said, and warrants were issued.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700. Callers don’t have to give their names. Tips leading to arrest could earn a reward of up to $1,000.
Suspect may be hiding in Fairfax County.
