WSHS Locks the doors

Well today I was woke up at 7:10 am and got to school at 750. When I was entering the building I noticed the door was locked, and I had to wait for the office staff to buzz me in. Does anyone know when this started? Is this after Newton?

Welcome to the new age of secured buildings probably. The schools aren't playing around, in regards to responding to such incidents with proactive measures.

Sounds more like boo hoo I got up late and got caught because I couldn't sneak into school since I had to get buzzed in by the office. Now you can't be lazy and sleep in. LOSER.

Sept 20th and you are just now noticing something that has been in place since the first day of school.

Not only that say what you will about greenfelder and security but they were telling people about the door locks the entire first week of school.

It's not even that much of a hassle unless you're in a trailer for class and even then it's not a big deal

Dear wshs student - schools have been doing this for several years now. I don't know when your particular school implemented it but, understandably you wouldn't have noticed unless you were late. Which you hadn't been until now.... Cheers

Except the brain trust that is the WSHS administration, under the esteemed leadership of Principal Greenfelder, has now locked OUT all of the students in the trailer park. And no, there is no prompt response when you "ring the bell" if at all. I guess that could be considered pretty secure unless your student is stuck in a trailer.
