Halloween Fireworks

I hear something that sounds like fireworks except:

a) much louder
b) who has fireworks on halloween?

It's about 8:25 now, been going on for at least the past 20 minutes or so.

Yes u heard correct there were fireworks in Fairfax, VA between 8:15 and 8:30pm tonight. I took my boys there it was a lot of fun. Free fun for everyone. Lots ant lots and lots of candy and fair rides and rock wall climbing, and a haunted house and outside movie and car show and fireworks and much more. It was at a haloween alternative party bash, held at The Fairoaks Church

That wasn't one of those fundamentalist christian anti-halloween "because halloween is a celebration of satan" things, was it???

It doesn't really matter what G-d the people do or do not believe in as long as they like setting off fireworks.

You probably heard mortars. The only worthwile recreational fireworks to ever acquire.
