They are both the same distance. Should I go to Six Flags or Kings Dominion? Which is your favorite?

If you like loud, obnoxious niggers that cut in line, drop trash all over the place and curse in front of your kids, go to Six Flags.

Highly recommend Busch Gardens- clean, pretty grounds, good rides. Kings Dominion is o.k. and it has an easy kiddie section for the little ones but it doesn't seem to be as pristine as Busch Gardens. I've never been to Six Flags so I can't comment on that park.

What is the fastest way to drive to Kings Domion and Six Flags from Fairfax County.

What are the best directions to take?

Kings Dominion is off of I-95. You will sit in stop and go traffic from Springfield to Freddericksburg. Depending on when you go it will take you 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Intimidator 305, the largest coaster at KD, has been down since July and is not expected to open until October, if then.

Six Flags America is off of the Capital Beltway (Central Avenue exit) in MD. Depending on traffic it can take 30 - 40 minutes to get there.

Neither Six Flags or Kings Dominion are bad parks, however there are a lot my people of color at Six Flags.

If you want to drive a little further to the south; Busch Gardens is a great park, to the north; Hershey Park is a great park as well. Either of these parks beat Kings Dominion or Six Flags America.

The last time I went to Six Flags I felt like I'd wandered on to the set of a Tarzan movie and the kids were
totally out of control. Swore I'd never go back. They have no idea what a trash can is for and the loud and rude screaming of foul language was irritating.

How much is the pass to get unlimited access to Six Flags, Kings Dominon, and Bus Gardens?

I went when it was Wild World and swore the place off after one visit. I ended up getting goaded into going with some people earlier this year. The park was just okay. Kind of mildly depressing with the number of rides out of order and the general shabbiness to a lot of things. I didn't outright hate it.

But then I made the mistake of venturing into the water park. I booked a cabana to stay clear of the hordes of zekes out there. But OMFG what a disaster zone. Little kids trying to cut in line, little kids all over swearing like sailors, kids running around unsupervised. Packs of older kids cutting in lines and acting out. I walked to head into the wave pool, but turned around due to the outright stench of urine wafting from it. Seriously. Except for some of the slides, all of the water smelled like urine.

But that wasn't the worst thing. The worst thing? Trash everywhere. There were families literally picnicking in the middle of walkways. Little kids dropping their lunches on the ground, then eating the food off of the ground. People would eat their lunches at their seats, then set the trash on the ground. It was blowing all over like tumbleweeds.

Kings Dominion Fast Lane is $65 for 1 and goes down to $50 each if you buy 4
Busch Gardens Quick Queue Plus is $50 per pass.
Six Flags America Flash Pass Gold is $35.

Not sure how the pass above were work with the upcoming Halloween Activities at each park.

I took my daughter to Six Flags America on Sunday and it was okay. Park was clean, lines were short, employees were smiling and there were not a lot of teenagers cussing. We did not go to Hurricane Harbor.

How much is the pass that let's you in Bus Gardens, Kings Domion, and Six Flags? It is just one pass that grants you unlimited access to all 3.

The passes referred to above are the passes to reduce your ready time. They are in addition to the cost for tickets or season passes. Season Passes at Six Flags runs $55 if you buy 4 and allow admission to all Six Flags parks.

Kings Dominion Gold Season Passes costs $81 and only allow admission to Kings Dominion. The Platinum Pass at Kings Dominion cost $180 and allows admission to all Cedar Fair parks including Cedar Point in Ohio, and Knotts Berry Farm in California.

Busch Gardens season passes run $70 for a VA Resident Fun Pass that permits entry to Busch Gardens all summer. Their regular season pass is $120 and includes entry during Hallo-scream and discounts during ChristmasTown. They also offer to $360 for a Two-Year Platinum Pass the includes admission to all Busch Gardens and Seaworld Parks.

Those three different companies are owned by the same companies. That is how they are able to offer the unlimited pass. If they were not owned together then they would not be able to offer the unlimited pass due to conflict of intrests.

It is 40 minutes one way to Six Flags most days. For Kings Dominion it can be 80 minutes or 2.5 hours depending on I-95 traffic. It is over 2 hours to Hershey Park. For Bush Gardens you are closing in on three hours minimum one way. Something to consider, especially if you are taking younger kids who will only last 3 hours.

Kings Dominion is still 1000 time better than Six Flags America. I remember when it was WILD WORLD, than ADVENTURE WORLD, and now Six Flags America. They don't keep the park clean. The clientele there are rough, nasty, and don't care about other people's right to the peaceful enjoyment of the facility. They don't enforce the rules at that park. It is a GHETTO with a rough crowd. I wouldn't take anyone I cared about to SIX FLAGS AMERICA. I go down to Kings Dominion instead.

KD is also overrun with wild savages. Go to Hershey or Busch Gardens if you prefer to be around people who know how to use toilets, throw trash in a trash can, speak more English than Ebonics, and have some manners.

Six Flags: Ghetto Blacks and Wetbacks

KD: Ghetto Blacks and Trailer Trash

They're both shit shows that prove that trashiness crosses races and cultures.

Six Flags is less of a total shit show. But only go during daylight hours. And do not - I REPEAT - do not go to the water park.

And did I mention not to go at night?

There was a guy on the water slides in his tighty whiteys and the park staf had to ask him to put on a real bathing suit or leave. Looked at exactly like Hussein. Funny as shit. Wow very disrespectful and racist

The important question is, is it true?....and from what I've seen, they are loud, obnoxious, they cut in line, curse, fight, etc...
So, instead of calling someone racist, the more important point is to let people know this is whats happening so they don't go there and have their day ruined like so many others.

And unfortunately, true. Sad that it is now illegal to speak an obvious truth. 1984 came late, but it's finally here!

Went to Martin Luthor King's Dominion yesterday. The park itself is great, but....Nastiest ghetto nig naggery I have ever seen. Totally destroys the charm of the park when every 3rd customer is a 320 lb. Sheniqua wearing daisy dukes and hollering nigbabble and obscenities. Empty 40 bottles all over the parking lot and litter everywhere. The 30% of white people remaining looked like white trash from Richmond. I honestly wonder how most of their customers can even afford the overpriced admission tickets. Staff was rude and stupid as all hell as most high schoolers these days are.

Fuck that place. Never going back.

This is a real shame, I can't imagine why anyone would go to an amusement park to get into a fight:

Many adults attending the church service had dropped their children off at amusement park, and there was confusion inside the church after an announcement about the situation in the Six Flags parking lot.

Fright Fest is an annual attraction at the park keyed to Halloween and featuring rides and attractions designed to scare and thrill participants. “Family-friendly fun turns sinister as night falls,” the description on the park Web site says. The event was scheduled to go until 10 p.m. Saturday night and 9 p.m. Sunday night.

Not much scarier than being confronted by gangs of "Urban Youth" with guns.

I would say it was a successful Fright Fest.

Margo Hodge, a former nursing student and Navy veteran from Stafford County, was at Six Flags with her husband Saturday night. The couple left the park with their children at about 8:30 p.m. when they witnessed a fight and her husband saw someone with a knife, she said.

“There were literally mobs of 20 to 30 kids per group and there was just constant fighting,” Hodge said about the scene inside the park. “There was a handful of security officers, but they had no control of the situation.”

As Hodge’s family left the park, she said she saw dozens of teenagers coming toward the car, removing their shirts and yelling obscenities, racial slurs and the word “purge.”

King's Dominion has not been the same since they eliminated the Lion Country Safari.

The Lion Country Safari attraction opened at Kings Dominion in April 1974 as a preview attraction the year prior to Kings Dominion’s official opening. In its first year, the three mile drive through animal preserve included over 100 different types of birds and animals, in addition to a petting zoo for families. Admission to Lion Country Safari was only $3.50 per person at the time. When Kings Dominion opened in 1975, a monorail system, called the Wild Animal Safari Monorail, was built through the attraction to give tours which lasted roughly 20-minutes. Cars were then no longer permitted to drive through the attraction after the monorail opened.

Not only was the Kings Dominion's Lion Country Safari a great attraction for all to enjoy, but zoologists were also hired and undertook a breeding program to increase the number of African species unable to survive in their natural habitat.

KD does have an African Safari. That's what the parking lot and main grounds are now. Good luck running the gauntlet of savage bloodthirsty apes.

And they wonder why even the spics don't want to be near them. Let alone regular people.

You are not kidding! Now the ghetto trash is going down to Kings Dominion and used to stay at Six Flags America! I don't have an issue congregating with people of any race who act like decent people and respect the rights of others.if one likes to go to an amusement park with filthy restrooms, staff who lack social and communication skills, staff who can barely speak English. overpriced food and attractions that are in need of serious repairs. A place that does not care about customer service. Kings Dominion is just for you! I remember the good old days when they kept that part clean and immaculate. You didn't have to deal with staff from low wage countries who could barely speak English and didn't care about the service they provide. I went on the Eiffel Tower and I was heartbroken to see that it was rusting and in need of a paint job. they need to increase the cost of admission drastically. They need to serve better food and not over price it. They need to hire staff with social and communication skills who care about customer service. They need to clean that place up before it becomes Six Flags America. I remember when it was a wonderful park but those days are long gone with Kings Dominion

I don't think people hate based on the color of skin here most of the hate I see is based on the behavior that they are witnessing. And it is not a crime to be a racist but most people here are venting they're legitimate gripes about a certain group of people who act worse than the animals in the jungle.

I'm sorry if the truth hurts but you are right the N word is racist. But the fact too many of your people who appear to be that way not all but too many do act like that. The truth is indeed the most powerful weapon of all. and I am a firm believer that n***** can be of any race. the word is evolving and originally had pure racist origins but it is being accepted as more race neutral. and Six Flags America is a ghetto monkey infested Hell Hole. and the behavior of the animals that frequent that place is unacceptable in a society filled with humans.

So what's supposed to be a comparison of two theme parks becomes a Klan fest? That's about more than just frustration with behavior. Have to wonder how much of the hate was about reactions to behavior and how much was about not liking what it feels like to be in the minority for a change. I suspect racial discomfort explains the bulk of the hate.

Living in Fairfax being both African American and hardly pressed about others actions I'm astounded by this internet boldness...lol. I was trying to see where to take my dad for a pastime we both use to enjoy when I was a child. Nothing about this forum tells me about the park. It does tell me some people are completely sheltered and before they die need to experience people of color... You the mother of human life....hahaha.

I'd say both parks, but Six Flags is by far the best. Busch Gardens is ghetto, is a huge chain, and is too far of a drive. I mean, by average, like one day to get there? Dang.

This is completely true. I'd have to agree with you, and everyone should. Why are the Klan fest people just being bitter about this one message?

Anybody who dips even their little toe in any theme park water park is out of their mind. There is more piss, feces, and other bacteria in there than in a prison shower. And it's 90% nog piss and feces and bacteria. Probably some AIDS and Hep swimming around in there too. No thanks.

I've been to both Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion this summer and last summer. Busch Gardens is nicer, but not by a huge amount. Busch Gardens has better food, it's slightly cleaner, it's prettier, and the cable car ride is great to get around on and for a quiet break. Coasters are better and Kings Dominion.

BTW, fuck the racists. Both parks have maybe 20-40% black visitors, but I never saw any problems with anybody, except for a few white kids who were being assholes. And that was no big deal.
