Backyard Playgrounds

Just curious if anyone can recommend where to get a wooden playground for a backyard.
Many people have them, they all look similar, usually one platform with a ladder and slide and then 2-3 swings off to the side with monkey bars going over them.
Ive looked on websites and looked at places like lowes and other local joints. Just wondered if anyone has feedback on a recent purchase. Want to stay under $1000 but also dont want junk.
Thanks in advance.

Home Depot and Lowes have kits as well or if you're handy, you can just be creative, buy the lumber and have at it.

Most playsets you get from COSCO and the big chains are crap. If you want a good set, I suggest you try these guys over in Chantilly...

...You can actually test out the equipment in the store. They also have financing and can set it up, too. We got one a few years ago and it is a hell of a lot more durable than the set we had before.

I have the one from Cosco. Paid about 1200. Doesn't seem like "crap" to me. All wood construction pre-drilled with all the pieces you need right in the kit. Had it for over a year now and its holding up well. The instructions could have been better but it only took about 2 days to put together. I looked at the ones at all those playground stores and couldn't see paying that much for something the kid is gonna get sick of anyway. The one at Cosco is actually made by the company who makes the Rainbow brand playsets.

I don't think it gets more boring than a swingset.

Why not put the kids in a sport and get them a nice Xbox or Playstation for home. It's dangerous having your kids play outdoors, and I am surprised you have such low regard for your child that you would allow them to become endangered by playing outside, just so you can have a few minutes alone to look at porn.

Backyard playgrounds are a great way to find and molest kids.
