Jeff McKay, Lee District Supervisor
Posted by: Law Abider. ()
Date: August 21, 2013 12:47AM

His website says: Supervisor McKay is a sworn Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Fairfax
County.

Has anyone asked him about his law enforcement experience? Rumor has it he had an interesting run in with Harrisonburg law enforcement while he was at JMU. Will he share the details with his constituents?

If he supports the artificial turf, he's as good as gone anyway.

His reserve deputy sheriff job means he's a part-timer with the Sheriff's office. Guessing he's serving process in divorce cases on the weekends to pick-up some extra scratch to supplement that tiny Supervisor's salary.

Hear he wants to run for clerk of court. Another job he's totally unqualified for.

What a complete joke!

Clerk of the Court you say? Perhaps someone should check with the Harrisonburg clerk of the court about his time there.

Most voters blow off "youthful indiscretions" committed during college years.

This dope needs to be excused from further public service ASAP but college acts aren't going to do it.

Fairfax County politics are usually pretty tame--I wonder who McKay pissed off.

It would depend what the incident was in college...a rape would be trouble-spraypainting grafitti wouldn't matter.

Let's stop playing games and just tell us what happened at JMU.

Mr. McKay can answer for himself. If he chooses to disclose his college indiscretion, so be it. If not, maybe a zealous reporter can track it down in Harrisonburg. There is no vendetta here, just a desire to get all the facts out there. If he desires a Clerk of the Court position, his JMU record is relevant. I have no idea if it even exists, but if it does, it should be brought to our attention. Just a thought.

Unless he killed somebody, his college indiscretions aren't relevant.

so, killing someone omly matters.

Good to know, Brian, thanks.

I guess rape/sexual assault wouldn't bother you a bit.

Or let's say he was drunk and threw a fraternity member out of a window and the guy is in a wheelchair?

It has to be murder?

That is a pretty low standard, but not surprising given the union thuggery you represent. So, rape would be OK? Attempted murder would be OK? Bank Robbery would be OK? Terrorism would be OK? Gang crimes would be OK? Drug dealing would be OK? Gun trafficking would be OK? Eh, you get the picture.

He is real good at wasting money. The island he had put in on Telegraph Rd in front of Hayfield High School. Fire trucks can't turn from Broadmoor onto southbound Telegraph Rd. It used to be when busses stopped there the cars could still drive around them. Can't do it anymore since the island was put in. All traffic stops until the metro bus unloads. This totally goes against what he is pushing on Richmond Hwy, Richmond Highway Embark project. Supposed to keep traffic moving but it wont happen. I heard some folks talking in Kingstown the other day about a pipe project for a flooding problem in Hayfield community. Flooding MIGHT affect 48 homes for one day. The construction project would affect 60 homes for 3 years. His office staff is a joke too. Don't know crap and don't care about the people either. As far as his Law Enforcement Cert, he is a volunteer sheriff, that's it. He rides around with an officer once in awhile too.

Exactly. The rest of Fairfax County does not need to be like the route 1 corridor.
