STAUNTON — Thirteen-year-old Sabrina L. Terry was last seen sleeping in her bed Saturday at 3 a.m.
As of Tuesday afternoon, after three days police were still actively searching for the missing Staunton teen.
“We do not have a location for her yet,” said Officer Lisa Klein, a spokeswoman for the Staunton Police Department.
On Monday, Staunton police issued a bulletin that the teen was considered missing.
Klein said Sabrina had only been living in Staunton for about a month after relocating from Manassas.
Police have scoured social media sites, followed several leads, contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation and have been in touch with multiple law enforcement agencies throughout the state in an effort to find the teen.
“We are doing everything that’s physically possible to locate her,” Klein said.
There is speculation that the teen might have left the area, Klein said. Asked if the teen could have met with foul play, Klein said, “We don’t know.”
Anyone with information concerning the teen’s whereabouts can call Klein at (540) 332-3852.
