Black helicopter with no registration markings hovering (pic attached)

Got a picture this time! Near Vale and Fox Ridge Roads. I swear something like a laser beam or bright white light was being aimed out of it - not towards any homes but into a wooded area. It hovered for about 30 seconds, shot a beam of light and then flew off at top speed towards the east.

WTF????

Interesting, that's not the type of helicopters that Fairfax uses. They went recently bought some new Bell 429 helicopters.

That is a Lakota Helicopter. Many government agencies use these. They are quiet and fast.

This is the new chopper that DHS is using to assist FCPD with the investigation into the local contractor serial killings...perhaps you're familiar with them. These Lakotas are equipped with cadaver-sniffing hardware that will hopefully identify the mass burials without the need to catch the suspect in the act or for the authorities to wait on yet another tip.

The helicopter is a MD-500n. No rear torque rotor.

So what's it doing over the area shining lasers into the woods for?

Could be mapping with a lidar, but usually you can't see the laser, but that is based on the maufacturer and what they are used for.

I don't know why. Lasers are used for measuring.
Or maybe they were measuring how long it took for this thread to be posted.

they usually do lidar at night so ppl are less likely to look into the beam and get eye damage

Websites are reporting these are special helicopters being used all around the country to pick up cell phone calls. They have special equipment that allows them to intercept any call.

Depends on the collection. Some fly at night and some have to fly during the day if they are used in conjuntion with an EO system for surveying.

Unless people are using binoculars to look at the laser, they should be flying and operating at eyesafe altitudes, and therefore day or night doesn't matter. If they are mapping, most of the systems operate out of the visible and in the IR from what I have seen.

I just ran across this site and wanted to share an observation that I had Saturday, June 7th, 2014 about 11:05pm I was outside on my patio with my dog and cat when I noticed a light (at this time, I cannot remember if it was flashing - but I sky watch so it caught my eye) without binoculars. It was moving from east to west at a pretty good speed and low as a small plane. I figured it was a small plane as there are people in the Buckley area that have small planes in their yards/garage and there are two small airfields. I grab my binoculars and all I see are one red light and one green light as if they were attached to a wing on either side but I could not see any shape or outline of a plane or anything, just those lights. I set the binoculars down and looked away for a few seconds. When I look back to the sky, I cannot find it. I grab the binoculars and begin scanning the sky - it was warm and the sky was clear, lots of stars out but no big planes cruising through (were not far from Sea-Tac Int'l Airport. I search in the trajectory it was travelling - nothing - search all over - nothing. I thought that was strange - it wasn't moving that fast to be completely gone out of sight. I looked away and unraveled the leashes, look back up and now see what I thought was 'it' but now its moving toward me so moving south. I grab the binoculars and it is flashing red and green and now has a faint beam coming out of it at an angle down towards the ground. I think what may have been towards an area of tall grass that has houses around it but nothing in the grass area but I cannot be sure. I was excited and looked further. The beam was not like a bright beam it was sort of faint but I could see it without the binoculars as it was within a couple of blocks but the beam was hardly visible in the middle and then faint as it was towards the top - going down. It did not sound like a helicopter - as close as it was - it should've been quite noisy. The think passed over my apartments with the beam still at an angle looking as it had not moved and then that was it. I sent my observation to a UFO reporting site but they did not post it. Maybe because I am not that good at describing? Anyhow this was in Sumner, Washington and probably lasted around 7 minutes or so. I am not sure what it was.

This is part of Obama's secret black panther helicopter brigade eliminating republicans that pose threats to the administration.

The green laser is a LSE-494. The LSE-494 laser can COMPLETELY incineration a human to dust and vapor with in 5 seconds.

I can understand those who haven't seen one thinking its silly conspiracy nuts but I saw one in broad daylight in Dallas near the Lew Sterritt Justice Center in 1998. It was accompanied by a matching color Cessna 172 airplane and both circled the perimeter of where I observed my only UFO sighting of a shiny, metallic, oval object the size of a Volkswagen.
For months this site amazed me and I'm now a very open minded believer in the unexplained but completely sane, tax paying, law abiding citizen, not seeking fame, just wanting to know the truth.

This is the helicopter I saw hovering between Dulles Airport and Route 28 some months ago. I had posted a crappy picture of it at the time.

It is the Homeland security department doing a census of all the homeless people living out in the woods now in NOVA, for the Census Bureau. The masses of illegal aliens Obamination is letting into the country now are using the homeless tent cities out in the woods to hide themselves until they can get fake IDs. The Census Bureau is trying to estimate the mass numbers so that they know how much of the personal savings of each legitimate citizen they can confiscate to be able to put the aliens on permanent welfare status.
