stamped concrete; Salzano Custom Concrete

We recently had multi-colored stamped concrete installed around our new addition in the form of a new patio and walkway. Salzano's did a professional job, quickly and neatly. The end result looks fabulous. These folks are great at what they do. Stamped concrete is practically maintenance free (just the application of a sealant every 2-4 years). We think it's a superb option over pavers or stone. If you're in the market, you need to contact Salzono. They're the pioneers in this coloring process and are certainly great at what they do.

Sounds like you got lucky, Randy.

Sure, you're an idiot for advertising in the main Fairfax Forum, but this site is full of stories of people who haven't been as fortunate.

Check out this thread for posts by people who have watched their work over time, and shared photos:

Does Salzano actually ask their customers to post here? Or do the posts come from trolls who're hoping the negative information will be dug up again?

I've noticed that none of the "positive" reviews that appear in this forum include photos.

It's difficult to believe that so many people just take it upon themselves to open this can of worms.

Hey guys/gals. I can only base my feedback on personal experience. I did read the unfortunate story from the supplied link and personally I am not a big fan of resurfacing. I had my old patio completely removed and the new patio wraps completely around the addition on three sides. I couldn't get a good picture of the entire job to include all sides and still see the texture and coloring. My wife and I love it and I welcome anyone interested to stop by and check it out. I have landscaping yet to do around it, so the surrounding lawn does not look that great. I'll post more pictures when I'm through with everything. Maybe I can get a putting green out of this.
