DMV Permit Error

Yesterday, my son took his learner's permit test. He passed, and received his temporary permit. However, the listed height is not correct - it says that he is 4' 1", when he is really 6' 3".
Should I wait to see if it is corrected on the mailed card? Or, should I call the DMV on Monday?

I wouldn't worry about it, its just a temporary permit. He has to fill out his info again once he gets his real license. When he goes to buy cigarettes clerks dont actually look at the height so he is good.

Maybe if the lady behind the counter did what she's paid to do, rather than *complain* about crap to her boss, my son's permit would have the correct info.

it's just a little problem no big deal but it is partly your son's and your fault. before they makes things official they will ask you to look over the information they have to make sure it is correct. it is clear the people at the DMV dont measure up to your expectations. they have a hard job, and deal with the same shit everyday cut them some slack. im sorry your son fell short on the reading part. but if you are truly upset about this, contact the DMV. i am certain you will find a very helpful individual who will go out of their way and do everything in their power to assist you. best of luck to you.
