Chantilly Toyota vs. Tysons Toyota

Does anyone have an opinion on Ourisman Chantilly Toyota vs Koons Tysons Toyota? Does one have a new car sales department that is easier to deal with compared to the other?

Miller Toyota in Manassas talk with Fred Lutz. Nice guy been there forever and knows all the cars. I have bought two cars from him in the last 8 years.

I had a great experience at Springfield Toyota. Avoid Ourisman and Bill Page Toyota..

Koons is the best. Their current promo is "buy a Toyota by July 31st and you get to fuck that Koons chic from the dipshit ads".

As Hillary would say, "What difference does it make?" However the Ourisman folks have a bad rep for lots of b.s. over the years, more so than other dealers. That's saying something.

Miller Toyota is better for sales, CHantilly Toyota has a better service department.

Also just bought at Miller. Came out strong with a great email price compared to Ourisman and Koons. No attempt at selling me an extended warranty or other nonsense. Plus they don't put any BS plaque or sticker on the back of your car.

Had a terrible experience at Springfield Toyota. Almost as if they were trying to make me work to buy the car from them. Back and forth to the "manager." Never did give me a firm price on a Camry. Ended up buying a Nissan at Sheehy. Very professional, no fooling around, gave me the price Edmunds said I should get, and gave me the same for my trade-in. This was in 2009. As for Tyson's and Chantilly, too far away for me down near Mount Vernon.

I just bought a Toyota from AutoNation in Leesburg this weekend. They negotiated and didn't play games with their agreed upon price. They do push the extended warranty etc. stuff pretty hard, but that's pretty standard in my experience.

Ourisman Chantilly is scum. Ourisman Fairfax seems better if you want to consider that dealer at all.

Brian Chanin at Fitzmall. Do some Googling, you'll find how highly thought of he is. Straight shooter, knows his stuff. When we were shopping, we were astonished by how little most of the salespeople knew about the cars they were selling.

Tyson's Toyota were in the running, but Fitzmall were WAY better.

Having said that, Ourisman Chantilly aren't the worst of the lot, but aren't great. And their service department are idiots, I'm afraid.

Of course there's always some element of "Whoever has the car you want". Yes, dealers can swap, but that sometimes hurts your bargaining position.

I think Bob Tedd Datsun at Fairfax Circle give the best deals. Bought my '73 B-210 there, and still runs great, but the A/C stopped working in 1981.

When buying I would say Tysons, but for service (because of their hours) I would say Fairfax Toyota.

I helped people who don't speak English buy cars so I can share with you this since I have quite a few cars under my belt.

NONE of the dealership is a good dealership. They are a bunch of crook. If they don't make money off of the car then they will make money off of service. You may have a good experience with one sale/manager person but that same sale/manager person is also dick to some one else.

Research the price online and pick a dealer that convinience to you, either close to you or close to work place and negotiate.

My method is tell them off the bat that I am here to purchase the car and hope to get out of here in 3 hours with a new car. These are the average price that online is showing and these are the price for my trade in.

IF the price of the new car is higher than average, then jack up the price on your trade in, basically I'll buy your new car with that price if you buy my old car with this price. I always tell them that I want an even number out the door, NO 999/98 bullshit. So from 8-10 hours shopping for a car I now able to cut down 3-4 hours max.

Oh, and don't sweat not having an A/C when they deliver your new car. Summer's over in another 30 to 40 days.

Yes community volunteer with translation. English is my third language. How many do you speak? If you understood exactly what I wrote originally then why the fuck asking again?

I thought that I was the only person who did not want a dealer sticker on my car. Almost walked out of a deal at Koons GMC over this last year...told them that if they want me to advertise I needed to get paid and $500 seemed fair. They rejected my offer and when the car was presented with the sticker I went back to sales manager and told I wanted to void the sale. Amazing that after 10 minutes they came out with a check for $500.

No they didn't give you a check.

I remember you, and you are the guy with a 357 credit score, and it was impossible the get you financed.

So they gave you back the keys to your trade in, and you drove off with a puff of smoke in your '99 Ford Probe.

I've always hated those damn things. What's even worse is the badge that's either put on with double sided tape or actually SCREWED into the body of the car. When I buy a car I tell them in no uncertain terms if the car has any dealership identifiers of any kind, NO DEAL. This includes the license plate surrounds as well. Like you say, if they want us to advertise for them......they can pay us.

Simple enough to peal those things off. Park the car/truck with the back facing the sun. After about an hour just peal it off, and use a little Goo B Gone to get the remaining glue off.

If the plate frames bother you get a screwdriver out, and remedy the situation. I seriously doubt any dealer is going to let you get away because of a little sticker.

If you ask politely they will do almost anything to sell you a car. Tell them you have to go because you are hungry, and they will call and have you a pizza delivered. I've done that, and it works.

Sure it's simple to remove. But why should I have to do it? Fuck them!

buy it only if you can pay cash

if you can't pay the loan COMFORTABLY in 1 year dont buy it

else they might get you fired and replace you with a mexican: simply to repo the car they know they can get back if you are just temporarily disrupted

a problem of POLICE spending shitloads of money trying to bilk their unwilling customers (citizens) for traffic offenses into corrupt courts is ...

is obama.gov spends no time investigating white collar crime and infact hires people who are corrupt to create it

there isn't anything you SHOULD NOT be careful of. there are millions of people in the area and NO INVESTIGATORS. most all complainers are easily detered with legal threats and gov talk. and the few left - the criminals aren't worried about.

there isn't anything they wouldn't do and wouldn't get away with in fx co.

you SHOULD be concerned

Why don't you just buy your Toyota from Carmax. I got my RAV4 from them we've bought and sold 7 cars with them and been very happy with it. No sales pitch or pressure you know what you are getting and get in and out pretty quickly.

Koons has horrible customer service. I strongly recommend taking you business to another dealership. Personally they turned a simple fix into a nightmare for me.
