Accidental running red light

I was coming back from work today and I accidentally ran a red light. I was talk to myself about something I had to do later tonight. I didn't hit anyone but I saw someone that saw me running the light. Can the cops be called if I ran a red light? Can they come to my house and give me a ticket?

No one "accidentally" runs a red light. Pay attention to the road and quit driving like someone from Maryland.

The right thing to do is post your name, address and phone number along with the red light that you ran.

Just kidding. They can't give you a ticket after the fact. Also, DON'T post your info.... you would regret it.

If the red light has a traffic camera on it you can sure as shit get a ticket.
