Man Arrested for Stabbing at Vienna Restaurant

VIENNA, Va. (AP) -- Authorities say a man has been arrested for stabbing another man at a Vienna restaurant.

Police say officers found a man with cuts to his hand and wrist when they arrived at El Punto Restaurant on Cedar Lane Saturday night. He was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police found 26-year-old Alexis Lopez-Caracas, who has no fixed address, not far from the restaurant. He has been charged with malicious wounding.

How about counting up the fatalities in the town of Vienna for the past ten years or so? The only ones I can come up with are an elderly person who died in a house fire and two bicyclists killed in separate incidents by reckless, presumably white, drivers. So the score stands at illegal immigrants zero, reckless non-immigrant drivers two. [and the white community tried to take out another cyclist crossing Church Street this summer, but only managed to injure him and destroy his bike]

As Officer Finelli was patrolling the Cedar Lane Shopping Center he observed one
individual strike another in the head in front of the El Punto Restaurant. The aggressor fled from Officer Finelli and was not apprehended.
