anyone know of any good places for gokart racing? im looking for something pretty competitive...

I don't know which is worse...the idea that they are wearing helmets on the same kind of go carts you see at any amusement park or the fact that they appear to be using gas-powered carts at an indoor track.

It's actually well-ventilated. I've raced there a few times, and enjoy it. Not sure if the helmets do much other than cover their asses, but I do think even the slow karts there go quick enough to do some damage.

These go karts are much faster then your typical amusement park go-karts. You can actually run into people pretty hard if you mess up and it will hurt.

If you really want to do some fun go-karts.

Go to summit point raceway, which is about an hour away. You get to race the karts on a section of the track and you can go pretty fast with these. The pricing is similar to allsports.
