Falls Church Crime: Vandalism with Dog Poop

Incidents logged between July 1 - 7 by the City of Falls Church Police Department.

The Falls Church police department supplied the following incident and arrest information. If an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Also, this report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

On July 1, police recieved a report that someone had smothered dog feces on the doorknob of a residence. The incident occurred in the 100 block of South Virginia Avenue. No arrests have been made in the incident.
In separate and unrelated incidents:

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block W. Broad St.(George Mason Square) On July 1, an unknown suspect(s) stole cash from an unlocked vehicle in the parking garage.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 1, police received a report that unknown suspects entered a vehicle and stole an iPod.

Drinking In Public, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 2, a 21-year-old man from the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Drinking In Public.

Tampering with Vehicle, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 2, an unknown suspect(s) tampered with a parked vehicle. No items were taken.

Public Drunkenness, 300 block S. Maple Ave. On July 2, a 37-year-old man from the Falls Church area was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence and Underage Possession of Alcohol, 100 block N. West St. On July 4, a 20-year-old man from Culpeper, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1100 block W. Broad St. On July 4, a 24-year-old woman was arrested and released on summons for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, 200 block E. Broad St. On July 5, three people were arrested and released on summons for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 500 block Greenwich St. On July 6, police received a report that an unknown suspect(s) inserted a metal object into the keyhole of the vehicle’s front door.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Little Falls St. On July 6, a Vienna woman was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd.(Eden Center) On July 6, a Falls Church man, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
