Six Taken to Hospital After Van Accident on Coppermine
Van overturned after collision with car.

Six people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and to be evaluated after a hotel shuttle bus collided with a car near the intersection of Coppermine Drive and Thomas Jefferson in Herndon on Tuesday afternoon.

Fairfax County Police said the accident occurred shortly before 6 p.m.

The van landed on its side, police said.

None of the injuries appeared to be serious. Police did not know which hotel was operating the van.

I assume they meant Coppermine Rd and not Coppermine Dr. If that's the case.. that's a four way stop intersection where two directions appear to come from neighborhoods. The speed limit is 25 MPH. Kind of a crazy accident for such an intersection.
