Calling for 100 on Thursday.

For God's sake please remember if you have a kid in the back seat!!

And don't leave bags of gummy worms on your dash. Bad things happen.

Went to the Kingstowne Wal-Mart the other day. They actually had a sign on the entrance that said something to the effect of "Please check to make sure that you haven't left your kid in the car." lmao

Where I come from in Portland, Oregon, a lot of stores have signs in the summer that say "DOn't leave your pet in the hot car, Please bring you dog into the store."

Your post is off-topic because of the pic... even though Kroger is going to buy Harris Teeter, there are currently no Krogers in Fairfax County.

And again I don't know what to do! Please, someone on the local news, tell me how to handle the heat!

Go to Safeway. Buy lots of bread and milk.
Go to Costco. Buy a pallet of toilet paper.
Schools will remain closed.
Power will go out, mostly in Maryland.
Old Town Alexandria will flood.
Reporters will find stupid places to report from.
(Some will try to cook an egg on the sidewalk)
Govt employees may take unscheduled leave
(or just lie about "working from home")
Panic.
Pray.
Niggers in DC will whine. Politicians will make excuses.
Liberals will feel guilt and offer the inner city a new pool.
Muslims will declare jihad. Some raghead kid in an expensive
car will kill himself.
FFXU will go on.

Compared to last year's heat wave (and derecho), this summer has been pretty tame so far.

Why is this big news anyway? Isn't it always hot here during the summer? I agree with Not Impressed, this summer hasn't even been as bad as the last few.
