Was just watching the Zimmerman trial and thinking back to 2009 when I was on the jury for this murder trial:

Su Quoc Vo was a 35-year-old man who was beaten and stabbed to death by Anh Tun Nguyen in Vo's home at 3274 Annandale Road in Falls Church on October 2, 2006.
I wonder how many people end up serving on jurys for murder trials. They went through a ton of people before finally selecting the jury. I was one of the last ones in the juror pool because people kept making up excuses to get out of it, etc. The final jury was 11 whites and 1 black. A lot of people got out of it b/c they said they couldn't understand English well, etc. One lady said she was on antidepressants and couldn't take the stress.
Anyways, it was an interesting experience..
