While we don't like to talk about it much (for obvious reasons) we do get some drifting over from the Crossroads now and then. But the rule is that if we catch them, then we get to keep them. It's written into the covenants and is one of the many benefits of living at Barcroft.
Most know to stay away by now through word of mouth in that community but every year we get a few newbs or guys who have had a few too many Coronas who wander past "The Border" as we call it. I usually go for the fatter ones. Easier to catch and you can get them chained up quick without too much of a fight. Surprising how fast those short chubby little legs can move with the dogs chasing them.
I keep mine locked in the basement. You can keep them in an approved shed or just chained up in the yard as long as they aren't visible from the street. Pretty good deal. They're hard workers, respond well to the whip, and don't eat much.
