Well done fellows! 26-24- in THEIR house, at Texas Stadiums LAST hosting of the Skins, as 11 point underdogs- TOTAL Domination of all aspects of the game! Where's all the Cowboy fans??
espn power rankings had dallas at 1 and skins at 15. lets see what they say this week...
dallas got shutdown, in dallas . on a big night, skins fans feel like we won superbowl
def is a nice win
fuck the cowbitchs
And the T.O. implosion begins. IT is a good thing that bunch of "mary's" have the Bengals coming to town next week. If they had to play us or a real team you would see T.O.'s teeth explode. Man up you big bald headed sissy! You got yo ass shut down by Springs, and then Rogers and secondary proceeded to beat your dummy ass around the field. What's the definition for "Over Rater" = The 2008 Dallas Cowfags.
Great game. love seeing TO eat crow. He was thrown 18 passes, he caught 7.
Here's his excuse after the game -
Owens said: "I would say no. I'm a competitor, and I want the ball.
"There were some opportunities there, and there were some opportunities there where they were holding and the refs just didn't call it. You can't blame the refs; we just didn't make the plays.
"Everybody recognized that I wasn't really getting the ball in the first half," Owens said. "I'm pretty sure everybody watching the game recognized it, people in the stands recognized it, I think my team recognized it. I didn't quit. I kept fighting and trying to running my routes and trying to get open."
No you cant' win them all but you did expect a better performance out of the "best team in the NFL" as all these tv personalities have said. 38 yards rushing? Face it you got shot down! and on your home turf!

YES SKINS MOVED FROM 15TH TO 6TH. NOT TOO SHABBY (SORRY CAPSLOCK)
yeah, accoring to espn. dallas was ranked #1 last week and they moved to #4 still infront of the skins who cleaned the floor with them in their own house.. riiiight whos writing for espn? go to any other power ranking (nfl, cbs) and you will see some realistic power rankings. not a 3-0 giants team who was on their byweek creep up to first place somehow?? yeh. no thanks
HAIL. very nice comeback win today in philly. next three games against teams with a combined 1-10 record entering sunday and not to mention the rest of the divisional games are at fedex field. feels pretty good but we cant get ahead of ourselves. one game at a time
I have to say that I have been shocked at how good the Redskins have been this year. I predicted they would go 2-14 and I am pleased that I am wrong. This has been the best the Redskins have looked under Snyder. Maybe he finally did something right with Zorn.
Zorn's strength with the running game and Portis is that he opens up with the pass and creates room for Portis to run in draw and delay plays. Gibbs used to use Portis like he was a power back, running up the middle into the D-Line, in a futile attempt to "establish the run" and use play-action. That's not Portis's strength. He needs some space to run. Zorn sets up in the shotgun so much that it gives Portis room to move.
The game against the Rams will be interesting. The Redskins are expected to trounce them. I hope they don't get complacent. Regardless of how hapless his offense was here and how the Rams have performed so far. Al Saunders does have a SuperBowl ring and Marc Bulger can be a good QB.
First, the Rams' defense was revved up and the Skins made some bone-headed turnovers, which aren't really indicative of their normal play.
Second, Durant Brooks needs to be gone by Monday. His punting has been disastrous. In a battle for field position, he repeatedly put the Skins in a terrible place. I hear sportscasters say Derrick Frost would choke on big punts. Brooks chokes on EVERY punt.
Third, Torrence needs to be gone as soon as a decent back-up is found. He cost the Redskins the game by his terrible coverage down field on that last drive. Torrence hasn't shown anything except that he doesn't know how to figure out where the ball is.
Fourth, what is the deal with Casey Rabach? First going beyond the line of scrimmage twice in one drive in another game, then the botched snap today that resulted in a turnover. Maybe the team needs a new center.
Finally, Jim Zorn's clock management. Was I the only one wondering why Zorn didn't call a time-out the second that deep-pass was completed at the end, putting the Rams' in field goal position? They had a minute on the clock and Zorn let more than 20 seconds burn off. WTF was that?
