Waterford Springfield and Wi-Fi??
Posted by: FFXLaxWife ()

Does anyone know if the Waterford in Springfield has WI-Fi access or a TV with cable? Family member is getting married the day of a couple big games and the whole family is wondering.
* I can't get ahold of anyone there, they like to hang up on people.

What an awesome country we live in.

"We're getting married and we're going to be at the Waterford in Springfield!"

"Congratulations, sweetheart! Do they have cable? I don't want to miss the games."

You, Laxwife, are a true blooded fairfaxian. I bet you have an SUV, cell phone , earbud, and careless disregard for everything around you. How many stoplights per day would you say you scream at?

Seriously... this sounds like it's going to be one classy wedding. You're making the wedding I had in my living room sound like grand splendor... we at least moved the tv and wifi crap out of the room.

Born and Breed in Fairfax! Good Call! No SUV or ear bud for me however! I'm not a Westfield Wife. I don't know about traffic lights, but I can scream at DC drivers with the best of them!

Again, at least it's not my wedding! I would rather get married in a barn then the Waterford.

Cool. I would also like to add I had my wedding the day of a skins game, which was also a world series game day. Still resisted all temptations.

Oh, that's not special. Anyone can scream at a DC driver. It's a natural reaction to being stuck behind them in the left lane while they run their rolling roadblock 5 mph below the speed limit.

All I'm saying is it's pretty selfish for your family to not focus on the person getting married, unless the entire family is that redneck-y.

LAXWife, I'm not saying this as a dig against you or your family. I'm just thinking about what would happen to me if I showed up at a family wedding and expressed disappointment that I'm missing "the game."

MrMephisto, All is in good fun on this forum. If you took everything seriously that people wrote on here you would be a really sad and depressed person.

The groom is my brother in law, and he's expressed concern that he's going to be missing the games as well. (BIG Lacrosse family) I don't think we are actually going to have the computer in the Waterford. Probably in the car however so we can check scores from time to time.

*I'm not sure anyone except the bride is looking forward to the wedding!

How does that work? Or do you mean, "is going to be?"

Weddings are pretty dull. If I ever get married, my ceremony is going to look more like a rock show. The priest will be all, "Do YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU, (my name), take this WOMAAAAAAAAAN to be your LAWfully, WEDded, WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE?!"

The crowd will cheer, and I'll say, "FUCK YEAH, I do. HELL YEAH."

And then? Pyrotechnics and bitchin' guitar solo.

Shit's gonna be so cash.

My husband's brother.... hence My brother in law!

I completely agree about weddings sucking... I wasn't a big fan of my own, other then the fact that my cousin (wedding party) passed out during our vows! Great Video to show the kiddies!

For some reason, I was thinking that your sister was getting married. I don't even know if you have a sister.

What the fuck was I thinking, then?!
