Major cop activity, dead person at the Prestwick in Falls Church

There are about 20 cops and several crime investigators at the Prestwick on Leesburg Pike in Falls Church. I asked a cop what was up and she said 'someone died.' They've been here since 4pm so there must have been some foul play going on. My girl lives here and wanted to know what's up, personally I could care less :) Anyone got info?

Jokes aside, I just left my girls place and the cops were still there. Seen them on the first floor with a bunch of CSI dudes with bags over their shoes. Security guard said someone was murdered or something.

Ok dude, I know you're trying to be funny but man it's just not working. It was not that funny the first time. Then you go for seconds up to a 4th donut joke. Don't know if you think the donut\cop thing is funny (in some cases it can be) but it just didn't really work here. Let's just go ahead and move on, or find another cop thread and try there.

Still no suspects, wow. I like how you can walk into a huge apartment complex at 11 in the morning, go into some girl's apartment and kill her with blunt force to the chest, and just walk out like nothing happened. Ridiculous.

Man Arrested in Falls Church Woman's Murder posted 5:23 pm Wed October 08, 2008 - FALLS CHURCH, Va.

Residents Want Information On Murder Case

Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a Falls Church woman, whose body was found in her apartment two weeks ago.

Mark Eric Lawlor, 43, was arrested Wednesday and charged with the murder of Genevieve Paulette Orange, 29.

According to investigators, Lawlor apparently lived in Orange's apartment complex on Leesburg Pike.

Orange's body was found Sept. 25. Investigators say she died from blunt force trauma.

A possible motive for the killing was not released.

Even today, I could never understand why apartment and condominium pass keys are so loosely controlled. From what I hear, some staff people make it a habit to actually make copies of some of them, before they are returned.

Lets not forget that Fairfax County (ADS) put him in this apartment upon his release from incarceration as part of their transitional housing program. So obviously the complex knew what they were getting when they allowed him to be placed there.

Typical Fairfax. Put a woman beater/kidnapper in an apartment with many single women, Give him the keys to the apartments, and pay him. This is happening all over Fairfax.
