Fairfax Co. project funding cuts

Except for the others, the 29 & Gallows road expansion is way underway already. You would think this would be exempt from making the cut list, based on this, and the fact that may businesses were forced to close or relocate already.

Any opinions/insights?

my opinion:

1) stop buying brand fucking new computers, you dont need 4GHz to use MS word.
2) stop paying for MS products, there are free (linux) alternatives.
3) dont renovate that new $53 million building for the FCPS administrators.

money problem solved.

Let me CLARIFY - any opinions on the AFOREMENTIONED MERRIFIELD INTERSECTION, and how it actually will fair with the intended cuts?

That's kinda odd that they'd cancel a project already underway. Shame the I-66/I-495 interchange got axed in the last batch of cuts.

Where's the first I-66 expansion inside the Beltway?

Cancel SOCO middle school and if any money is to be wasted based on contracts already signed just use it for a big fat Tisdadt bus depot
