Time Out - Springfield Mall

Stumbled upon this website. Some old pics of the Time Out in Springfield Mall as (well as other locations). It's interesting to see some of the old game machines.

Wow, those were the days. I spent many many hours in there back in the day. If you were the lucky kid with a roll of quarters you were set.

Missile Command, Galaga... not to be offensive, but I remember how much I used to hate the Asian kids that would come in and own those games. I always scored well, but they always made it a point to have the high scores on every game in that place. Also they were not happy if you decided to play a game they were playing - sometimes it got very tense over who got the game next lol.

Now it is Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero stuff. They still have a few throwbacks to neanderthal times.. :)

I once won the $25 monthly online raffle they had when I was a lil one, and that was pretty much like hitting the lottery. I still have a few thousand Time-Out tickets sitting in a closet.
