Is there a good place to get your haircut local to Northern VA? I've been to haircuttery and they don't do a very good job, are hard to deal with not to mention kinda expensive. Right now I have fairly long hair and I want a styled cut not a barber type cut. If anyone can suggest a good place for me to get my hair cut, i'll love you forever.

Every Hair Cuttery is different. If you had a bad experience with your local one try another. The Vietnamese women at the Hair Cuttery in Greenbriar do a GREAT job!

At the Greenbriar Hair Cuttery there are several girls that have done a great job with my ever changing desires - long, short - no worries; Shanaz & Julie.
At the one in Fair Lakes Shopping Center there's a girl Mina who is good - and another one, but I cant remember her name. In the Pickett Shopping center at that Hair Cuttery I always have good luck too. AND, I am picky!!!!! Mostly I find that if you have a picture they do great. I dont go any where else. Good luck!

There is the Springfield Beauty Academy - done by students under a teachers supervision. I have been using them for years. Mens haircut is like $10 and they sometimes get 2 or 3 people to work on you since the students need the mens haircut credit. The one is Annandlae near Annandale Road and LRT is run by a lady named Susan who keeps the girls on their toes.

Ballston Barber in Alexandria. It's a bunch of Vietnamese ladies that cut your hair, do the hot towel treatment, shave the back of your neck, and give you a massage. Same price as Hair Cuttery, but so much better. I'll never go to another place.

C'mon guys.What you pay is what you get. If you don't want to pay for the haircut! go to any Haircuttery to get a hair cut and whinning about how's bad the job was..and they's give your money back ha ha..that's their stupid polices

Yeah, I'd say Hair One is a nice place to get your hair cut. Decent price, and they're pretty good with the scissors. Only problem is they're constantly talking in Vietnamese, and it's pretty clear they're talking trash about the various people who wander in.
