PANHANDLING IS NOT A CRIME
Posted by: Michael Stephen ()

There is no specific anti panhandling ordinance in Fairfax county or the state of Virginia. Panhandling is PROTECTED under the FIRST AMENDMENT. To say "freedom of speech except for if they asking for money." what is next? Freedom of speech except for if they are speaking out against the Government or President?! THAT IS WHATS COMING NEXT PEOPLE!!! You need to hold onto ANY and ALL freedom of SPEECHES WITH BOTH HANDS!!!! And let us NOT forget that JESUS and the APOSTLES were BEGGARS! SO was SAINT FRANCIS!!! I'm sorry if it INCONVENIENCE YOU THAT A LOCAL RESIDENT ASKS YOU TO HELP THEM. BUT IT IS NOT ILLEGAL. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

1) Get a life.
2) Get a job!
3) First one to bring God into the argument loses. There are no imaginary friends in the sky.

"There is no specific anti panhandling ordinance in Fairfax county or the state of Virginia".

This statement is incorrect. See ORD-9928-S9 in the 2012 Virginia Crime Code:

Listen up you drunk, Saint Francis lived a life of abject poverty because he exemplified humility, and more importantly, he did so to become closer to God(not to leech off people for drug money). In fact, Francis came from a wealthy family and CHOSE to live a life free of mortal temptation.

You on the other hand, are begging for money for more vodka on the median while holding up a sign(usually a bullshit one) trying to hastle people who are stuck at a red light. Fuck you, you Gypsy fuck and fuck you for invoking God as a right to be a theif. Lastly, you're not a local resident. Lets just get that lie out of the way as well.

Unless someone else brings in Hitler before another party brings in God. In that case the one who brings Hitler in loses, even before God enters the argument. Hitler trumps God, so-to-speak.

I'm gonna park my truck near a busy intersection and walk up to cars holding a boot for them to fill with cash. Wonder what will happen.

It's also not a crime not to give you a dime to feed your alcoholism or drug addiction.

Try it in old town Fairfax or anywhere in the city. If I spot you panhandling, I will call it in. It is illegal in the city and I love seeing those who act entitled to panhandle for some random made up reason get popped.

Yup. I nearly called in a mother and baby who were using a cardboard sign in old town. She tried to tell me in sorta english, she was just waiting for someone. I pointed at her sign she had set aside and told her, "you have 3 minutes to leave or you will be explaining this to the police.

Fairfax city is a place I care about. Seeing the leeches come from all over to ask for gas money for some tragic reason or the dollar for no reason at all sickens me. These are the types who suck the lifeblood from our country.

I know why they come. It has been no secret the county and city have money still. Well, screw you and your lazy life. Go play in traffic on the 495 mainlanes.

Wow. A bit aggressive? Just do what I do, offer them a meal, if they refuse and beg for money, tell em "Sucks to be you," and leave it at there.

Not really. Just today I was in the McDonalds lot in old town and was approached by a woman begging for gas money to get to the hospital as her daughter has Crohn's disease like she does. Bullshit. No car and she was alone looking like she just crawled out the bushes. Oldest panahandle scam with an updated twist. If I gave her anything it would have been to a needle in her arm I am sure.

Not 10 minutes later I am at my car talking with a friend and some guy comes by asking for a dollar. No reason. Just wants money I earned. Tells me he is from New Jersey. wtf. I told him to go back.

On the flip side we have some local homeless I do help. It is the scam panhandlers I dislike so much.

Also, I never said I was a saint. If you care to feed a worthless scam hump of flesh, it is well within your right to do so.
