Movies that use Dulles airport?

The new main terminal train station is so futuristic - I'm wondering if it has shown up in an movies yet as a location? The only movie set at Dulles that I know is die hard 2, and I don't think many scenes were actually shot there.

Nope - it was totally Denver International. I do remember seeing the occasional shot in movies of characters flying flying into Dulles and it pretty clearly was Dulles. Trying to remember one ...

They did a lot of the filming at LAX as well. The filming in Denver was done at Stapleton International which has been replaced by the current Denver International.

Yes, he went to Dulles in 1980 in the film, but the shots of him driving up there clearly show the daily parking garages, which did not exist then.

Die Hard 2 supposed to be at Dulles Intl? Pacific Bell phones and maps of Los Angeles in Dulles Airport (serving Washington D.C.) can be seen. Someone must have lost their job over this.

The TV shows Wonder Woman, the Six Million Dollar Man, and the Bionic Woman had scenes of the outside that were used for shots, but I don't believe they actually filmed there.

An episode of Get Smart had a scene taking place at Dulles. Must have been in the late '60s. There was a brief shot of it from the outside but I don't remember if the rest of the scene was filmed there.

Don't you remember flight control and pilots all saying "Dulles".

"Attention Dulles... blah blah"

Die Hard 2 was supposed to be Dulles. They showed National at the start of the movie though, and I think the filming included LAX, Denver and Minneapolis. No scenes were shot at Dulles.

Movie was directed by Renny Harlin.

I think one of the Transformers movies (#2?) had a scene shot in the Udvar Hazy museum, is that close enough?

Of course in the movie Dulles doesn't seem to exist. Behind the museum there was a huge field full of broken down planes.

I think what the OP was asking about was the new subway station in the main terminal. It's pretty modern looking, with stainless steel and glass floors and the trains in glass boxes. Looks like something it of Sleeper.

Pretty sure I caught a glimpse of Dulles in Our Man Flint (1966). It looked surprisingly like it does now except everyone was wearing suits and ties to travel, and were smoking like Chinese factories.

I remember laughing out loud in the theatre when I saw "No Way Out" and Costner ducked into the "Georgetown" METRO station. They had the obelisk so, it looked somewhat authentic...

I know that in Hunt for Red October, Jack Ryan arrived into Dulles in a heavy rain.

Did that "PacBell" logo on the payphone Bruce Willis used give it away?

What's cool as hell is pausing the DVR while NCIS is on and they're showing maps of the area.

The maps have place names in roughly the right places, but the roads are all FUBAR.

That, and the fact that they can drive to Norfolk from DC in about forty-five minutes makes it awesome!

Yep, a Senator shows up with a key witness in Dulles. When he goes to make a call the witness suddenly disappears.
