110 in a 55 zone - Help
Posted by: Chief keef ()
Date: May 31, 2013 04:44AM

Can I get this dropped to a regular speeding ticket? I already did 1 night in jail and was released on bond ($2000). I was also driving on a permit, I am only 17. Money is no issue at all, my budget for a lawyer is about $20k tops.

Thanks

It was 3 am, no one was around, I would only kill myself. The car I was driving is a 500+ hp car, It was humming along quitley at about 3k rpms. I did not even notice my speed. The laws need to be changed, this is not the 1960's, cars nowadays can do 160 with ease. You can even break the 200 mph mark in a sub 100k car nowadays.. I think the judge will know this and hopefully reduce it.

"Money is no issue at all"

"I think the judge will know this"

You have a lot to learn about how things work. The judge doesn't know anything other than you broke the law. Have daddy or his lawyer "talk" to the judge. Money and influence helps. You'll probably get off with a warning not to be back within 6 months if its a 1st offense.

Chicago rapper Chief Keef may have provided media and fans alike the closest thing to a confirmation on his arrest for driving over 100 miles per hour earlier this week with a simple tweet.

While quick to the point, Keef did not deny making headline-generating posts about his latest run-in with law enforcement.

According to yesterday reports, Keef hit the road roaring Monday (May 27) in Northfield, Illinois.

Chicago rapper Chief Keef was charged early Monday with excessive speeding in Northfield -- one week after being arrested in Georgia on a marijuana charge. According to Northfield police records, Keef, whose real name is Keith F. Cozart, was stopped on the northbound Edens Expressway (I-94) after being clocked driving 110 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone from Lake Avenue to Tower Road in north suburb, Pioneer Press is reporting. (Chicago CBS Local)

A law enforcement official provided a few details on the rapper's latest woe.

Cozart, 17, was behind the wheel of a 2011 BMW, heading north about 3:45 a.m. Monday at Winnetka Road, when a Northfield police officer spotted him, said Northfield Deputy Chief Claude Casaletto. "He was clocked at 110 in a 55 mph zone," Casaletto said. "The officers typically sit off on the shoulder and wait for speeders. He came up as a high number." (Chicago Tribune)

Reports claimed Chief had three other male passengers with him.

The officer pulled over Cozart and found three other men in the car with him. He was taken into custody, and one of the passengers was allowed to drive the BMW away. Casaletto said. Cozart was brought to a police station and was cited for going 110 in a 55 mph zone and having too many passengers, the deputy chief said. Cozart has a driver's permit which only allows one passenger with him. The police report listed Cozart's address as in the 600 block of Pfingsten Road in nearby Northbrook. He is scheduled to appear in courtroom 101 at the Skokie Courthouse at 10:30 a.m. on June 17, said Casaletto. (Red Eye Chicago)

This whole thing is porbably bullshit, but if this kid is for real you are in a lot of trouble. When i was 17, i got my first speeding ticket. I was going 85 on the Fairfax County Parkway in my 1985 Mercury Lynx when it first opened. I got pulled over and eventually had to go to court. The judge suspended my license for 30 days and had to pay fines.

I hope they revoke your license with that attitude you little fuck.

So let me get this right..

People sign up for accounts on FU with the alias of relatively unknown people from Illinois. Post a question as if they are that person, based on what is apparently an actual event, and then await replies and respond? Is this just some bizarre mini-trolling or is this really to try and get the search ranking up for Chief keef and speeding to worsen the reputation or what? LOL.. this place is os strange.

If this kid lettered in a couple of sports and is active in student government, Sharon Bulova will make a special appearance on his behalf. After all, when it is all said and done, those are the things that count in life. The judge is probably a "Mason Nation" man himself.

Grow up!

I liked the part where your parents co-signed for your home loan when you were 17. Which means you entered into a contract when you were 17. Which you can't do.

So now, you have a house and $20K yet you can't pay for legal advice.

Interesting. If I were into butt-fucking young boys.

Stabitha is both a Liar and Loser. Lives with parents and his life is posting on this forum. Stabitha went to his neighbors house for his only social event of the year and managed to display complete immaturity by posting pictures. Complete disregard for others privacy. Im calling bullshit on this op. First off, if you are 17, you would not have a bond. Bond is only for people who are OVER 18 years old, taken before a magistrate. You sir, would have been released on a summons, and the cop would have called your mommy and daddy. Also, if you had a learners permit, your parents would have definately been called to pick up the car, as well as your dumb ass. And by the way, what 17 year old has 20k to spend on a lawyer. I call total bullshit on this person. If your going to troll, then atleast write something that is somewhat believable.

This rich spoiled prick is justifying his actions and has no remorse at all.

An encounter with a law-abiding car would be the same as if he were driving 55 in through a parking lot - except that physics would actually make the parking lot version safer.

Relax. You are not going to get 11 years unless you also killed someone, ran from the cops, were committing other felonies, have multiple past convictions, etc. For a first offense you might get 6 months tops.
