Can we compare the two? I'm closer to MD but I have never been. Thoughts? Thanks and remember, when the dealer shows 16 always stay.

Maryland Live Casino sucks. Drinks aren't free. It's still mostly a glorified slot parlor and totally ghetto. Service is terrible, it's terrible and the dealers aren't good. Charlestown isn't much better. The drinks are free but they are terrible. The dealers are a little better but it's hit or miss. Comps suck at both places. Restaurant options are awful. For a day trip, suck it up and go to Charlestown only because it attracts more real card players with poker. It's basically a choice between white trash and ghetto. You're better off driving to Atlantic City.

Flush your cash down the toilet. You will lose. If you think you can beat the house then you will lose more.

Your best bet is to get into one of the many underground poker games in Fairfax. If you aren't looking for poker then go to AC for other card games.

But those commercials for Charles Town show people in cocktail dresses and sports coats. You mean it's not really like Hollywood?

Do you really think anyone will post that info here? It is underground for a reason.

If you havent been to Charlestown lately and you take Rt 9 it has been redone. No more winding mountain road through the dregs of WV. It is not 60mph highway that takes you right to 340 a short jump to Charlestown. The new road took 15-20 mins off my trip. From Fairfax City I can make it in less than an hour.

Since Maryland opened Charlestown has lower table limits, have seen ten dollar tables and they comp the shit out of me and I hardly ever go.

BTW fuck AC, they had their chance when they were the only game in town on the east coast. They had high table limits and treated the customers like shit. I wouldnt set foot inside their casinos. I just save up a little green and take a trip to Vegas and get in some sports betting too.

Both casinos are pretty shitty, and are filled with low class individuals. Neither casino offers much comps. If you live inside the Beltway it is much quicker to get to Maryland Live.

Maryland Live has automatic shufflers on the blackjack tables.

The craps tables at both casinos are pathetic. Always 12 deep with railbirds on the outside. The dice gets thrown once every 5 minutes. If you play craps do not come to play at these casinos.

Charles town's poker room is fairly well sized, but they only run NL games.

Borgata in AC blows these places out the water.

It's not all hardcore like Rounders and Teddy KGB where you get roughed up if you cheat. It is a bunch of white 20 something former frat boy douche friends who play $20 buy-in tournaments.

Playing in live casino could be a good opportunity to earn some money. My favourite games in online casino are slots. I follow my strategy in Cherry love and always win. This is the best site where I play www.koko188.com. There I like the interface and the way how the customer support treat simple users. Once I had a problem with approval for getting out my money . Customer support solved my problem and sent a gift promo code.It is trusted gambling company and I have never seen how somebody is cheating or using illegal tricks.

May I be honest with you? I also love slot games. Once we were in a big company of friends and I was to discover here the most beautiful games in the world. When we speak of a casino, you will likely win money here rather than earn it, but it will for sure be a lot of fun and entertainment for you. And it helps to release stress too.

But I myself prefer online casino in fact - https://canadatopslots.com/. In the end, luck here smiles for me much more often. This is my favorite rest after a hard day.

I try not to go to Charles Town on the first of the month, when the casino is overran with old people, some dragging an oxygen tank beside their wheelchair and their huge purse is blocking the seat next to them.

Sad to see them gamble away their last pennys of their social security checks on penny slots. Then they get the call that the buffet is ready for their service, they shuffle or roll off to go eat then get on the bus back home.

Some nights after 9pm the musical acts are pretty decent and it can turn into a mini-dance party. If i was drunk enough off the free drinks i can dance a song or 2 with no cover charge except to gamble enough to get said free watered down 6 ounce cup with 5.5 ounces of soda and ice drink. More of a "local" crowd then.

Slots are spread out enough even if it gets crowded keep walking and you should run into SOMETHING to play. Of course ppl are hogging the "buffalo" "wheel of fortune" and other popular slots. Plus there are smoke free areas but you gonna stink anyway so get used to it.

I would say it is quite peaceful at charles town, and more "lively" at Live though. Just beware of the lower income peoples swarming Live (and skip Baltimore Horseshoe unless you wanna get robbed in the parking lot by the homeless people that roam desperate to get money for their next heroin fix). At least at Charlestown you will make it stumbling to your car ok - just follow the speed limit all the way home especially on route 9 that is their cash cow for speeding and DWI tickets- or better yet uber to and fro if you know you're gonna get smashed.

No decent restaurant/shoppings in Charles town but a ton of chains upsale and regular around Live. I'd play in CT but not stay to eat/shop not worth it.

MGM- bring your wallet if the tight slots don't kill you the MD/DC hoodlums will. Worth it to go ONCE so you can say you been- then like previous posters say go to AC or Vegas.

Thank you for coming to my TED gamblers talk for fall 2019.

Dude, I was in a casino in both cities and I didn’t like it anywhere. I played poker and saw how the dealer changed cards to deceive me, but could not prove anything. The same situation was in Maryland and I decided to try playing online casino. I found a new Indonesian casino with a great reputation and I was able to earn about 5,000 bucks in a week. I started to raise bets and play more often and my income increased significantly. As a result, I quit my job, because now I can make money much easier. Thus, I dispelled the myth that it is impossible to make money in a casino. So if you want to win poker, then avoid real casinos.

Their is a positive with Charles Town if you like horse racing. Not so much the horses at CT but all tracks and that would be a more 'day racing' experience. Many self-bet machines, no long lines, many places to sit, have a beer but you have to go the food court area for lunch or dinner and bring it back. So very relaxing for horse racing.

I have noticed with the other casinos opening in Maryland the poker area has really dwindled down with less customers. No a poker player so that doesn't both me.

The new deal at CT is now the Sports Book that has brought in a whole new element, especially on weekends with football and basketball. Most of these gamblers stay in this small area so it's not big deal. Lines can be long if bet sports especially on Friday.

We all faced disadvantages of the casino but there are still dependable casino sites. For example, I have found one on www.baccarat.net/ and I still frequently use. In my opinion, such sites are really helpful and we shouldn't underestimate it

I am a gambler. Go to the strip clubs on the way in, while you still have your money. Unless you know how to hold em and know when to fold em

I have been a fan of gambling for a long time:) It is cool way for me to relax and have fun. PC games are not so interesting for me. Now I usually play on minimum deposit online casino because I don't want to put much money on the deposit. By the way such casinos can be good variant if you are a beginner!

It's funny, but it works. I believe that winning gambling depends on luck. If you know when to stop, it's a big plus. This site https://1xbet.com/en/ is my favorite. I make good money here. I think a good website and self-control are the best helpers. You agree with me?

Hello. I think my favourite sport for betting is horse racing. It is one of the oldest and most popular things, that's why I was eager to learn it. At first, I watched the best horse racing tipsters and they helped me to develop my own view and taught me to make predictions by myself

One thing I noticed in Charles Town was the dealers at the craps table allowing non players to stand at the rail and watch. Unless you were playing in AC they tell them to take a step back to allow those who want to play a space at the table.

Being a gambler, I prefer playing different casino table games, and I can say that the most important things in gambling are experience, strategy and luck. Recently I've discovered coincasino casino and I was lucky to win some money there. What about you, guys? Have you recently won at the casinos?
