Prince William County High School Transfers

Local news indicates that some county high schools have seen increases in student numbers. Has anyone calculated the number of high school transfer students from Prince William County to Fairfax County high schools? I understand that the 1,200 students mentioned in news articles and to Mr. Connolly are documented in the county by their transcripts, so the data is available.

according to http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/27/AR2008042702432_pf.html between september and march last year 759 ESOL students ran from PW and 623 ran to FFX

http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=317694&paper=66&cat=104 suggests 1,000 out of 2,500 new students

Of course that doesn't count the illegals already here or who have come directly here. Given estimates that there are upto 20 Million hispanic illegals in the US, its a good assumption that upto 50% of hispanic kids in the county schools system are here illegally and should be back in their home countries.

Given that we're in a budget crisis isn't it time that we started having a serious looks at how much illegals and their families are costing the county and its tax payers.

Time for a serious clamp-down or sending the bill to the Mexican Ambassador given that Mexico seems to be the main source and corridor,

But of course - you can't say any of this as FCPS COO Susan Quinn found out http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=317694&paper=66&cat=104

The data is clearly available but its so damming that FFX shut down the study to assess the impact.

Your taxes wasted, your kids nickeled and dimed because local and federal government won't do their job.

Maybe Mr. Connelly would be interested in some swamp land in Florida? Seems like he has wool over his eyes.
