106.7 Lavar & Dukes show

Does anyone else think the past two days of this show have been great without Lavar on the show????

It's been great cos he's not their to bomb segments. Plus they actually get away from talking skins 24/7, I don't get a crap about how their breakdown of the skins draft. Some random non sports related material is a welcome break from sports drivel. Makes me miss the old WJFK

I like Dukes, he's a professional broadcaster with a gift for quickly and effortlessly speaking his mind. He's pretty quick on the uptake and doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to answering a question from a caller. Lavar can be funny, and I love hearing his opinion on all things that are football/redskins related. On the other hand it annoys me listening to Lavar answering questions from either Dukes or a callers. He never gets to the point, he just talks around and around the question and never pinns down a final answer. He was a stellar player in the NFL, and one of the few bright spots in the last twenty years of medeocracy, but he's not a polished pro in the broadcasting business by any means.

Seriously, how can you not go brain dead just listening to the Redskins over and over and over again when theres literally nothing to talk about. Caps are in the playoffs and the Nats are good yet its 5 hours of Redskins every day

Dukes is a funny motherfucker and LA ain't bad- he's the sports insider, Chad the color guy.

I rarely listen when it's not NFL season though, there is only so much they can say about hockey or MLB to keep my interest though I watch both.


I'd like to see Dukes back with Oscar or back to talk radio non-sports.
