Newsweek Ranks Robinson Higher than Woodson

Better that Woodson. It was not that way before Yost took over...
Newsweek has ranked Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax as the #342 high school out of the top 2,000 high schools in the country, for turning out college-ready graduates.
For its rankings, Newsweek sent out a survey to more than 5,000 high schools in the U.S., with about 2,500 schools responding in 2013. You can see the details about Robinson's ranking, and every other ranked high school, by clicking on the markers in the interactive map above.
The survey scores were then weighted and calculated using several criteria including on-time graduation and college acceptance rates.
In addition, instead of averaging the number of courses offered, this year Newsweek considered the percentage of students enrolled in AP, IB or Advance International Certificate courses. The final scores then determined Newsweek’s final rankings.

Robinson didn't show up on the Washington Post's list of the most challenging high school's in the country last month, but it was ranked an impressive 14th in Virginia, and 288th nationally, on the U.S. News & Word Report's list.
Interestingly, those two lists ranked both Fairfax High and Woodson High high on the list, but Fairfax and Woodson do not appear on Newsweek's list.

Duh....some of the FFX schools did not participate in this bogus survey. The rankings are pudding pie anyway. Garbage in = garbage out. GIGO.
