Odd feelings for School Supplies?

As School starts Tuesday for most students in the county many parents will be accompanying their children as they pick out school supplies.

I love school supplies. Flipping though a unused notebook fills me with a kind of inner potential to start over. Ah the smell of the paper!

I watched other kids and parents judiciously weigh the pros and cons of this or that notebook, pen, colored pencil.

I remember as a kid going to the supply room to get something with the teacher. A thrilling memory! I can remember the piles of construction paper and other supplies all laid out.

I guess it's the potential of school supplies that most intrigues and still oddly excites me. I wonder if any others felt this kind of attraction for school stationary supplies?

A lot of people enjoy the scent and feel of new things, like furniture, electronics, etc, so it's completely normal. Good luck this year.

Left untreated, a paper fetish can become chronic and pose a danger
to society. The impact of those with this affliction is that great
expanses of forests are depleted worldwide in order to satisfy their
lust for paper products. You need help quick! Please check with your
medical insurance provider to see if counceling iscovered under your
particular plan. Federal Employees policies do not cover this.
