LOL "Real job." This coming from someone that has open disdain for his $450 a week job. LMAO

I guess a real job to you is someone making $31k a year in one of the most costly regions in America to live in.

Lets see how long before somebody in county posts the OP info....hhmm...interesting.

Just what we need more people like Tax Payer who clearly feel jealous of what others have and probably thinks he should be entitled to it.

Are there probably jobs that could be cut or are overpaid absolutely, but this is not the way to go about it. You just sound jealous.

If you werent too lazy to actually sort the list for what you consider to be wasteful maybe you would have a better job.

Pinheads, school librarians at Elementery schools make more then regional librarians at the county libraries.

They all have master degrees. Go beat your lips at the schools thats where the squander is at and why your taxes are going up.

In April you will have your chance to raise hell.

They might also want to inquire about how much of their tax dollars is going towards educating the children of "undocumented citizens" in Fairfax county. I'm quite sure it has to be about 10% of the FCPS budget, if not more. Might be 15 to 20% of the budget by now.

It's amazing that more people are not pissed that at least $1,000 of their yearly property tax bills are going towards illegal occupants within the county. It costs money to educate them, provide other services for them as well as additional police officers to handle the extra crime, driving incidents, etc.

I realizing someone might pop in here and claim that they pay taxes. While they do, it's highly unlikely that they are paying the amount of taxes anywhere near what a resident of Fairfax county who is legally here is paying. The undocumented citizen most likely does day laborer work and gets paid cash. They can also crowd into a house and live with 15 residents when 5 would be realistic.

At some point, the cork will blow. Even those who might be most sympathetic at the moment about the illegals being here, will realize how much it's costing them. When that happens, they'll start to whistle another tune.

County salaries are absurd. I use to work for the county and made over $90,000. Never worked more than 20 hours a week and I was the hardest working employee in my office.
