Just to clarify a few things that "Trummer's on Main" states. George Washington and Lord Fairfax did not hunt in or around Clifton. If this is disputed, please site your source(s). No, Trummer's was not the spot that "the Confederate and the Union met at throughout the Civil War." AND NO, Clifton was not the first town in Virginia to have electricity. You forgot to mention that Thomas Jefferson built, owned, and operated the original Clifton Hotel and that it served as the original "Camp David" for the early U.S. Presidents. If you are going to B.S., do it right!
Another news flash... You state that Trummer's is in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. That hasn't been the case since Lord Fairfax and George Washington used to hang out together at the Clifton General Store.
