Whats the deal with 2 biusnesses along Centreville Road as u head to Manassas. There's a Taco place across from the 7;11 that seems to be PACKED with cars ont eh weekend with kids. Somehow I suspect they dont sell tacos. And further down there's a suzuki car dealer that only has cars parked in front for sale on certain days of the week. All other days the cars are all mysteriously missing. I do this drive twice a day every day of the week onmy way to work. And I just can't figure out what's going on with these place.s Why is stuff so strange and shady around this area?

i think that taco place is actually a Guapos or something.

the car dealership used to be a Farrish Jeep (i think)

but...

come a little closer....

(when entering the county, the illegals are brought to the "car dealership" for in-processing where they pay their "dues", get their fake paperwork (work visas. etc), a change of clothing, and bicycle. From there, they walk across the street to the taco place for some food before hitting the streets in search of work and white women to cat call)

the taco place is el taco, which is so easy to remember you have to wonder about the credibility of someone who drives by it twice a day and can't remember the name.

the reason it is so crowded sometimes is because the food there is dirt cheap.

At other times of the day, el taco has no cars at all.
I wonder about some of the used car dealerships that are selling cars for less than 3,000. Cars probably dont work.

el taco, that's it.

and "RESTOn peace"... question my credibility if u like but its a simple question. what would ther be for me to lie about? besides, i'm a right brained creative type. ask me which chairs and tables have been sitting outside the antique store across the street or what is painted on el taco's windows and i'd be able to name them... but names of streets or people or whatever, forget it. i suck at left brain stuff. someone who has time to question my credibility certainly has time to read about the fact not everyones memory works the same. right?

anyhow, as someone else mentioned here... its' often totaly empty and deserted during the day. but wats strange to me is that its crowded on the weekends. like to the degree that people have ot park at the carwash behind it. its weird. im all for cheap food tho. im just curious what they have going on at night.

while we're at it, i'll throw in one for fun...
the meat packing place on centreville rd near that red barn antique mall? huuuge lines on the weekend around noon. wonder what the deal is there too.

I believe Farrish Suzuki has closed up. Hasn't suzuki pretty much closed up shop in the U.S. Before Farrish bought the dealership wasn't this Suzuki dealership the one's who started with those whacky infomercials that the Dawg at Ted Britt sort of borrowed to run it's own whacky infomercials?

As for the taco place across from the 7/11 been wondering for years what the operating hours of the place are. Seems like it shuts down about 7:30 or 8pm most weeknights. Always seem be open very limited hours. That place has been there for years hasn't it. Well before the onslaught of folks from south of the border starting moving in.

As for the butcher shop next to the old Laws Auction House. They sell the best donkey meat. it's good. don't they also sell used vehicles at same location.

Since talking about businesses along Centreville Road stopped at the Shoppers grocery store the other night, were the Checkers is, and immediately upon entering the store could smell something had died, most likely somewhere deep inside the 100's of boxes of soft drinks at front of store. It was overwhelming, not a dead rat or mouse but something larger. Me I exited but people still shopping despite the smell. Do they have health department in P.W. or they look the other way considering

hey these are all P.W. joints

El Taco ROCKS! It's been there since the early 70's. WAY better food than Tippys (but same exact selection). The family who runs it closes it at weird hours based on business flow for the day. If its busy, they stay open later. If not...you get it.

Now the butcher shop IS veryyyy shady. Mexicans lined up outside the door on weekends...dont know whats going on there but I'm pretty sure they ain't buyin meat.

Anyone ever eaten at the Yorkshire restaurant? Driven past it all these years but never stopped. Last of the old timey restaurants in the area.

What happened to the French restaurant that use to be down the street from the Yorkshire? Was there for many years. Retirement or offer to get out they couldn't refuse?

We ate at the Yorkshire restaurant last winter in the hopes that it would be a local "diner" type of place. Not so - the breakfast was unbelievably greasy, not even the grits were good. The biscuits were horrible. You would expect a place like that to at least have good biscuits and grits.

The french place (I believe it was called Chez Paul's) was great, but I heard the owner died a few years back, it closed after that.
