Be nice to have a Golden Corral or Lowes

They have torn down the kmart in the last few weeks. There's a ton of rubble/junk there now.

Definitely wont be an Aldi as they moved into the old Office Depot space.

There's so much room where they tore out that dirty kmart. Hopefully they put some non-shitty non-strip mall crap there. The whole are looks like shit. Classing it up a bit would be nice.

The Twinbrook Pizza Hut is relocating there. If you drive by, you can see the pile of stones and cinder blocks being used to build it.

Lowes pulled out, so the site is being used to store construction debris until a new tenant can be found. Large but neat piles of used cinder blocks, stones, gravel, sand, bricks, etc, now are found there.

I love majority Asian neighborhoods. The restaurants are good, the folks all have jobs and take care of their houses, the neighbors are nice and the groceries are cheap. The grandmas are terrifying and the household goods are pretty and cleverly designed. I don't speak a lick of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese... Ok, I can ask for a beer but that's it- but it's ok not to know everything. Being surrounded by completly incomprehensible things while perfectly safe and comfortable isn't much of a hardship.

If your complaint is "but they're Asian!" ... Then wow, I'm sorry for you. If you can only ever be happy when surrounded by white faces your life is gonna be very small and very upsetting.

Seriously? That'd be too bad. There's gotta be a need there. The Home Depot at Price Club Plaza (or whatever it's called nowadays) is hell to get in and out of.

Carmax wants the site but needs zoning changes. We sure do need another car dealership in Fairfax. I wanted to buy a car last week and couldn't find any.

Allsport Grand Prix indoor go kart track is in talks with management at this time. They got booted out of Dulles with a 35% rent increase this summer.....
