Huge Herndon police convoy today

Does anyone know anything about the huge police convoy in Herndon today. It came out from the neighborhood behind the 7-11 next to the golf course and bike path. It had 2 motorcycles, a couple cop cars, one unmarked car, a car with the marines logo on the side, a van, and strangely what looked to be a road maintenance truck. I was on the bike trail at around 7 pm when I saw this and could hear them for miles afterward.
